Even though I've been playing Dead Ahead for a while now, I still didn't know a lot of these things about the Atoll, like the bunker. Thanks for the video
Although the name of the map and the game mode name is "Atoll" it looks like just pretty much an island with a few smaller islands nearby, not like atolls in real life most only have dead coral reefs and a lagoon but eh it still a good game mode, maybe the island is not forming into an atoll yet maybe the sea level just raised a Lil bit so only like prob 5-7% of the total island land is under water. Probably. (Extras: Real-life atolls are like an island but it doesn't have like a middle part, so they are like an island but have no central land part and instead just some salt water that is not connected to the sea or lagoons. It isn't the best thing for the military base but if it's big enough it could be a naval base /landing pad for aircraft to deploy, but mostly, atolls are found in a group like maybe 3-5~ atolls, so is it actually good for military bases? well it's yes and no, in fact, it's small making it kinda not the perfect military base but still it could be a good warship station to refuel and resupply.) But still, if the developers want to kinda remodel the atoll maybe they can add 2-3 actual real-life atolls and maybe add each atoll an objective to capture, like one atoll is like the place to deploy APCs and the other one is for the heavy bomber and the last probably just some military stuff to protect you from heavy bomber's bomb and BB's shells. Although that will make it a very different game since the game is more to naval battles instead of land battles. What do you guys think about remodeling the atoll map into my idea above?
Landing Craft is the main priority to take out if we have Gunboat or Aircraft circling around the Atoll tell them to Destroy oncoming Landing Craft that is loaded with troops same for the VLC (Vehicle Landing Craft carrying Half track ready to roll in with troops in it) Battleship can be used if there no available Aircraft battleship will be used if your teammates are really coordinating some Enemy will be really tricky using their pilot to land in the Island airstrip and cap the hill it needed 5 people to defend incase Aircraft Carrier isn't needed to take out unless we reduce all their airpower
14:56 it's true but in the old version before the truck added there's apc but before that theres SPG aka self propelled gun but never added due to laggy and the first vehicle to be added in atoll is actually tanks they got 2 updates when it was first release it only has 2 seats 1 driver 2 gunner but was change to only 1 seat after the overhaul update it got remove sadly :(
@@CoolD200 Hydrus is an Orion ally. Hydrus’ battleship can only be spawned in skirmish. (50% chance) Ursa is an Antearan ally. Uras’s battleship can only be spawned in skirmish as well. (50% chance) Both battleships have different accents, which is really cool. Ursa’s battleship is basically more a battlecruiser, however Hydrus’ battleship is basically a force to be reckoned with, being the in-game Bismarck. Why did I just write a compare and contrast paper.
UPDATES: Gunboats do NOT exist anymore. Sinking the carrier gives 100 pts, instead of sinking it for no air support for good. The new Stronghold gamemode has the gunboats.

As of me playing for the first time, atoll is now like entrenched's conquest game mode, like Verdun, Somme, and Aisne.
