I always give Morgan's videos a thumbs up, but yes, Doug needs his own thumbs up on this one. It's just such a fun sound!
I just love watching this woman perform. People need to realize that she is doing this, while sitting cross legged on the couch, not some cushy recording studio. You can ever hear a dog barking in the background, GO MORGAN!
Or standing to use her full diaphragm? Just mocking so many other singers.

Morgan James is way beyond RUclips, she is doing records now, but should do everything by now. She gives me goosebumps, her talent is amazing. Hat off to the guitarist!
She is really admirable. Her apprereance is very positive. She doesn't need fancy dresses and a ton of make-up. I seldomly heard a female singer with that vocal range. No need to say that she doesn't need autotune or anything like that. Natural beauty and a natural talent.
I love how she's just casually curled up on couch, BELTING out this song. What an incredible talent. And that guitar. Wow. (Did anyone else hear a dog bark someone in there? I swear I heard it around minute 3)

I can't believe I just now discovered Morgan today. I grew up in Muscle Shoals right in the middle of the explosion of music being pumped out of FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound studios, the whole Jerry Wexler / Atlantic thing that was going on there and a lot of the people in those studios were/are my friends. Morgan, you definitely do justice to the music of my life. You gained a new fan today.

Morgan has the power and vocal dexterity to take on the "Queen of Soul's" biggest challenges. When Morgan gets to the arenas to sing, she won't need a microphone to reach the fans in the nosebleed seats. What a set of pipes!
