I always smile when I watch you go between cars and zip around in the city! All these years I thought I was the only impatient driver / rider on the road?! Funny 😆 Don’t blame you a bit. Best, Rola (Oregon / USA)
I really love the Cruisym I bought from you guys last summer. Hands down one of the most pleasant scooters I have ridden and the price is correct for what it offers. I can hardly wait to put on it heated grips...those plastics around covering the handlebars are a real pain in the proverbial butt so I would prefer to be done by professionals :P Stay healthy and see you soon, my friend !
I only have two vehicles, one is a classic 66 VW beetle which is in the shop because of my transmission. The beetle is my work truck, and I’m using my Genuine Buddy Kick as transportation, so I understand what you’re going through. ✌️ I have to park my scooter outside, so I have a cover for it. My seat stays dry……😂
Hi Alex! I'm glad you made this video. I like this category of scooters. My feeling is that they are all in one. I was close to buy one, but after I took the A driving license, I didn't resist taking a motorcycle. So I took an all in one moto 😀 (a Honda NC750X). Anyway, I still believe that this type of scooter is suitable for commuting and weekend/occasional travels outside the city. I am thinking of coming to SYM for a test drive with Cruisym 300i. Who knows what I will take after NC. ;)
Another awesome video! It looks like the cruisym 300 is an awesome scooter. I would like to see you do a review of the joyride 300, as it is one of the bikes I have thought about getting. I have not seen a hands-on review of that bike and would like to see it on this channel. Be safe!
@@RideWithAlex Very awesome! This will help me make a decision between 1) HD300 2) Joyride 300 3) Cruisym 300 or 4) NHT 300. For now I have ordered a couple of Michelins City Grip 2 for my ST 125 A/C (same color as Donnie). Good luck with your vehicle repairs.
It is extremely popular in Athens also, despite the heavy traffic through narrow roads, although behind the hd300...So we really appreciate your POV (point of view) vlog and your comments!😁👏👍
A very common problem are the seals on the Bmw r1100gs and other models, the repair kit isn't cheap but a hell of a lot cheaper than a new master cylinder lol.
Men, I really admire how can ride a bike at such a low temperature😁 Anyway, I'm looking forward for the weather to get warner here in order to start riding again :-)
This thing has 26.2 torque at 6750rpm and 26.4hp at 7500rpm. While Joyride gets 26 torque at just 6000rpm and 26hp at 8000rpm. So Joyride seems to be better overall on engine specs. I wouldn't mind if Cruisym gets a 350cc engine, so that atleast can justify more the title it has. With a price tag of around 5800$, it could be a nice middle ground between joyride and maxsym.
the joyride engine is a little bit different because of the cam shaft with a bit of a different profile and the roller bearings. that's where the difference in power comes from.
Damn, i really want the Cruisym for courier work, but 4 lt / 100km is kinda high... is it confirmed from your test on it? in start stop city traffic? cruisym ergonomics is much better than smaller scooters so i wonder if it can at least do 3.5lt/100km...
On another subject: I was just wondering recently, why the scooter manufactures ( almost ) do not offer a scooter with a bigger ( ie 17" ) wheels.... 🤔 Do You have any thoughts about that?
The way a scooter is constructed the biker the wheels the bigger and taller the scooter as to be, remeber your feet are behind the front wheel completely and your ass is on top of the rear wheel. 16 is enough for scooters.
Yeah, here it's legal and even if it wasn't, in my case with my 125cc scooter, I would still lanesplit on the premises of "catch me if you can" especially when everything is stuck, including police cars, and they know they have almost no chance of catching us 🤷♂️🥳 . Yes, it's true that during the "riding season" of the year we also have cops on BMW R1200RT bikes, but, to be honest, last year I was overtaking the entire queue of cars over the double continuous lines, rush hour, following a cop who wasn't on a mission and at the red light we greeted each other 😂😅💪 . The "unwritten law" here is "as long as you don't disturb anyone, you are free to breach many rules" because we are not the traffic jam 🤷♂️ . Ride safe!
@@RideWithAlex e la fel si la NHT 300? Si apropo, intre Crisym 300 si NHT 300 ce ti-ai lua daca ai avea bani de una singura si nu ai detine alta pana atunci?
Good mornin Alex and greetings from Greece! I've kept the plastic seat cover, the one that came from showroom, and I just use it after every ride to protect from dust or rain.
That is a smart thing to do, I didn't do that :))))

Hi, very interesting review thank you. How can does it handle with two up and up the hills?
It does a decent job with 2 uphill, but depends on the hill :)

În the city it's about 3.5-4.5 depends how you ride it, on the open road 3-4 again depends how you ride it.

Take it to the dealer for warranty. You only have 95ml of oil in each fork tube so, not a lot is going to come out if the fork seels blow.
