Geometric Drafting: How to Draft Rectangle Sleeves

  • September is all about geometric pattern cutting over here at Project Patterns HQ, and in this video we are exploring the use of rectangles in sleeves.
    We can draft this lovely jacket by starting with 3 simple rectangles and working into them.
    The only measurements that you need are the total hip circumference and the finished length of the jacket, easy right?!
    The way that we fold this sleeve to turn it into a triangle can be applied to many different pattern pieces, why not grab some fabric and start experimenting with rectangles!
