Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like we're being sold a version of 'spiritual closeness' that’s a bit too easy to believe? Sure, brokenness, humility, and craving God’s word are good signs, but does anyone else think there’s a lot of pressure to feel close to God when life’s struggles make that so hard? How can we be certain we’re truly 'growing' if doubts and doubts still lurk in the back of our minds? Just asking for clarity here sometimes it feels more like blind faith than an actual connection.
