I loved the part where Toothpaste-Chan said “it’s engaging time” and they engaged the enemy.

I love how they didn’t even bother hiding the death of Alear’s mother.
It would be hilarious if they thought they could introduce a parent for the main character and make us think, can't wait to see her make it all the way to the end.
It's so cheesy and fun I needed a game like this after constantly playing serious stuff.

Okay this is a take I can understand. I was really bummed that the story wasn’t going to be as gripping as 3H to me and that the design seemed more generic anime (love the colors just not character faces and hair) but this is gonna make me try the game in a new light.
I was just really sad the world building and life wasn’t as deep as the previous game which made me want to finally play a fire emblem game from start to finish.

The thing I like about Fire Emblem is how different the games feel compared to eachother. Like this is a complete different direction that 3H was and its really refreshing

I hope you're joking.. it's always the same fckin story. 3 houses was the only exception. You are the nameless chosen one, there's corrupted people and an evil dark lord that try to awake a dragon. Rinse, wash repeat. Games are fun though.

Thank you Nintendo! I'm so happy to return to a more traditional Fire Emblem game. Please do this in future installments. Three Houses has its place but don't forget about the old-school fans that want the classic tactical gameplay. Loving Engage so far!

this looks amazing!!! Im so happy to see Eirika and Ike and everyone again. Ive been playing FE since gamecube and its amazing to see how this videogame has evolve but also keep its tradition and spirit.

Awesome game so far. I liked Three Houses, but I'm glad that Engage is more to the point regarding gameplay.
3 houses is a good game but I personally didn't really enjoy it that much. Like literally the first 10 minutes of engage I was easily having way more fun than 3 houses and I don't exactly know why :)

I really liked how non-linear Three Houses was. So far Engage is VERY straightforward.
@@SarahbearJayne that's fair 3 houses was definitely less straight forward but I feel like in the end each route has a straight forward section and then it takes forever for the story to progress since u have to wait a month or 2 before the next important fight

This game sure has character design that exists
The main character has a "trainwreck" appeal to the design, but I can't help but wonder about the reasoning behind the Blue/Red... those colors are so significant to this franchise that it clearly has deep underlying meaning.
I think it would be funny watching them getting a haircut “just a little off the red please”

This looks like the natural progression for the series. Not every game can be a huge Three Houses style event, but at least they kept the gameplay and made it linear. While I probably won't play it, I am interested to see how it goes.

This looks awesome! I haven’t played any fire emblem games before but always thought the series looked pretty cool. I know the game only just came out but people who have played it is it worth the cost? This game looks very impressive and I have high hopes but I don’t want to purchase it blindly, so if anyone knows anything about it or could give some recommendations I’d love that. I'm around half way done and liking the game so far. I prefer the more strategy focused gameplay of older Fire Emblem games so I like this way more than Three Houses.
