Relatively certain it will require Tensor chips or equivalent due to how much processing is ongoing.
All these demos for reference are being executed on the Pixel 8, with it's Tensor G3 chip which is built for quick neural net calculations.

@@1495978707 Uhm, of course no. People control corporations but cannot control their kids. If corporations were to not step in and make something stupid like for example yt kids, a few years back, you could only imagine what kids would grow up thinking and learning in this adult internet.
There are many such examples of kids learning unnecessary and grow up thinking that's OK and committing "crimes" like R### when they are like below 10yo on basically toddlers or friends. You can google it, these things are in the news.
Their raw brains must be put in the right places, and that would automatically happen if the internet is safe; but it's not, so I am saying let whatever these people are making be safe, and not a hazard, time in making of this should not be an issue for safety and future.

With Astra, google said "some features available later this year", so I assume this conversation mode, like GPT-4o, will be available towards the end of the year. We'll probably hear more on Made by Google Day.

Honestly, the assistant is the biggest reason I’m considering dumping Apple. Siri can NEVER understand what I say consistently. I had a Samsung phone for a few days to try it out, and it was great for voice to text and assistant. Being as I’m on the road and rely on it for hours a day, it’s a big reason for me to make the switch. Unless Apple does something about Siri sucking so much ass I’m gone. The only reason I like Apple so much is because even for the Boston marathon bomber the FBI couldn’t get in his phone and Apple wouldn’t unlock it for them. With an android phone the chances of them getting into it are higher. Nothing exists on this planet not even made from Apple to allow someone to easily bypass iCloud lock.

But call centers, assistants, accountants and many office related ones will.
Very complex robots will replace every job but I don't think necessarily in 10 years.
