KOM ON THE GNARLIEST DH TRACK!!! (GLENCOE BLACK)

I took a look on Strava to see what the fastest time was down the black route section at Glencoe Mountain and decided I’d give it a go on a timed run. The black section starts just off the main road and the course has changed over the years and yes Strava is not crazy accurate but it’s just some fun at the end of the day! Pretty sure that track is actually a lot slower than it used to be and it’s certainly the gnarliest it’s ever been in my opinion! 2.36 from the road drop in is really fast for an Enduro bike. 2.12 was the fastest run a at British champs 2 years ago from where the SDA started the other week. The track is so blown out now though.

Wow, do you do coaching or recommend anyone? I though the track started at top section, got 4 and a half minutes on my first ever day second lap, i'm a newbie and not skilled at all. 4 runs in a day is good experience but can feel it!

Glencoe is truly horrendous especially on an Enduro bike. How amazing are modern Enduro bikes when you can ride this kind of course at that speed? Awesome. What rear tyre you on to cope with that?
