wow just bumped into this "older" vid ...very good, so good that it makes me feel like wanting to have kids just to go to one of these schools, for real ... thanks for another super vid ... 👌🤙
My son went to Pearl Harbor Elementary before we went to the mainland. He loved his school and his teachers and I must say, I did too. Special shout out to Mr. Ogino who was so very helpful to my son. I miss the life we left behind and PHE was a part of that.

Surprised Kaimuki didn't make the list when I did class room visit for the BPBM kids where behaved there. Did a bunch of career day for Washington middle School as well. Man.. your videos make me so homesick
That's an interesting top 10 list. Every public school has pros and cons. SUMU had a big influence. Another variable is a search: edutopia hawaii schools

Did you or your kids went there? I live across the school and the kids that walk by to the school looks like little delinquents. I stop taking my toddler to the playground across the school in the afternoons because the kids hanging out there where really vulgar and destructive, also a few homeless kids and unsupervised kids. My neighbors also told me to avoid sending my daughter there. I’m now doing research about GE because really concerned about Ala wai elementary school. The place looks pretty from outside, but what can you tell me about the students and atmosphere? They have a very low great school rating.
I graduated AAES last year now I’m in 7th grade in intermediate I had good memories of those 7 years in AAES the teachers were so nice hardly anyone would be bullied.
Is a good school? I’m doing research about GE and planning to apply there too. Nobody mention that school but have a good rate. What can you tell me about it? Thanks :)
brahh mililani waena shoulda been there instead, literally best elementary school in mililani imo istgg, the teachers there are so understanding and non-boring if u get what i mean. all the main principals, and assistant staff are so nice likee... except for the vice prinipal mrs. uyeno *gag*

I don't have a link to the guide, but you can pick them up in Hawaii for free.

Not sure. Sorry, didn't make the list.
That neighborhood is scary.
I'm sure that they are good schools, but with this covid-19 pandemic, I'm not so sure now. Looks like I may have to home-school my children now.
It's a tough choice for parents. My son isn't old enough for school, but if he was, it would be tough to let him go back.
