I have the standard version but I think step thru is better for delivery riders because it’s easy to constantly get on or off. Main reason why I didn’t get step thru is because like you said, locking it up isn’t as easy

Yeah it’s a fantastic bike. I agree about the regular X should come with the BMX style handlebars but at least you can upgrade to them if you wanted. What’s the X20?

It’s amazing how much more oomph this bikes have when others “claim” to have 1000w motors as well. I can’t stress enough what a great value these bikes are. The step thru appeals to an even wider audience than the regular X did.

Excellent bike but for another $900, you should just get the AR Grizzly which has dual 1000w motors, is nearly twice the battery capacity, 4 mph faster, and dual rear shocks.
I think some people find the Grizzly to be a bit fugly. And not everyone is climbing a lot of hills. It's a shame they don't have a dual-battery, single-motor X-Class -- for pure range, rather than powering a second motor.
Do you know what is the raise of the handlebar? cause I own a X-Class non step through but the handlebar is different and I wanted a Bmx style but they said if you go above 9’ raise it would be to high for the cables.
GOOD POINT! I'm on my 5th ebike now, all different brands and styles. My newest Jasion eb7 folder has an adjustment to raise or lower handlebar height, but when most extended the cables are like that of a suspension bridge.
What do you really like about a color display? I have a Kepler and Bee Cool Explorer with no color display. Honestly can't say that I notice a difference when riding since I'm just occasionally glancing at the speedometer.
Is the Step-thru version lighter than the standard x class? The spec shows Step-thru being a few pounds lighter (but the spec sheet looks like horrible copy and paste section)
Great review this bike looks sweet! Would like to get one but heard from a different review that he said it's not the best bike for off road? I thought with the duel suspension and adjustable shock it would be sweet off road? Maybe he was thinking it's not to comfortable bike to stand up on for off road? I love riding woods trails and also pavement. I have never road this style of ebike before as I have a mountain style ebike know but have road dirt bike all of my life so was thinking now that im older 55 this would be a fun bike for on and off road? I dont care about pedalling as I have health issues just want a fun bike to zip around on. Thanks

This bike is not road legal anywhere in the USA that I'm aware of due to a 750W limit for Class 3 e-bikes. Also, bicycle spokes become loose and break over time with powerful hub motors.
They come locked to class 2. So when you get it it is road legal. Also, no one is going to blink an eye at this thing either way unless you’re being reckless on it.

@@diekatzefliegt you’re very welcome! If you’re using pedal assist you should get significantly more range than you would with just throttle. With just throttle I was getting a little over 20 miles of range and I’m also 260lbs so I’m heavy. As far as the customer service goes, I’ve never had an issue and most people won’t. You’re always going to hear the bad stories but rarely ever the good. It’s just how it works. People are more likely to go onto social media and put a company on blast when they’re unhappy of the outcome than they are if they’re having great experiences. If you have ANY other questions please don’t hesitate to ask. These are fantastic bikes for the price compared to anything else on the market. I don’t get why they don’t offer those handle bars with the regular model. They are obviously far superior. I also don’t get why they are currently offering a free inflatable paddle board (which they value at $800) if you purchase any of their bikes. That seems like such a random thing to pair with an electric bike. Why not offer a free accessory? If they offered a free extra battery (which costs about the same as the paddle board) I would have bought an e-bike from them already.
@@easyheimer Lectric XP 2.0/3.0 does fenders right. Ariel needs to extend those fenders 8 inches further back to work. PS. I like the Ariel bike but being on the shorter side (5'3" tall) I think the seat would be too high for me. Maybe you can have someone 5'3" tall ride this bike and see how it fits? They’re both fantastic bikes. Some people want the smaller bike though. The Grizzly can be a little overkill for some.

The paddle board is from another company the owners run. It’s an initiative to clean up the ocean.

Those fenders do not extend back enough to be of any use.
You won’t find any bike that has useful fenders. They all do the bare minimum.
