Fall is just around the corner, and this time of year I love to wear bold eye makeup- well who am I trying to fool, I always love bold makeup! Today I want to share a twist on on the classic "fall leaves" type look by adding a pop of pink! There are all sorts of subtleties that make this work- I blended the pink with a brown liner on the bottom to give it an anchor, and I carried the color into the outer corner of the upper eyelid to make the pop of color simpatico with the lid shades. A warmer hot-pink lipstick acts as a buffer for the warm lid shades and the coolness of the pink. I also ditched the upper liner because this look doesn't need it. If you are ever in a makeup-rut and you feel like you're just following the motions- break the rules a little, you'll find new amazing ways to use your makeup!

This looks is drop dead gorgeous with your eye color. Kind of reminds me of a play on the primary colors with the yellow gold, magenta, and your blue eyes!

I absolutely love this pallette. I almost skipped over it when it came out because I have so many shadows that are similar... but then I started swatching... amazing! Girly is my favorite of the bunch but they are all beautiful.

I wasn't going to get this palette either but I "accidentally" went into sephora while at JC Penny and swatched the eyeshadows and instantly fell in love with the texture, so I had to get it. Lol. Love this look Cora. Will definitely try it.

I love how you completely explained and tight shot this whole vlog. It made total sense, and showed me now to apply this to my eyes! I have the same eye shape and lid space as you do. So it was especially perfect for me. I may not be as great as you in application, but now I know how to do it to get it close. I love these vlogs! I do have these shadows in my stash, so I didn't need to buy the palate. It's handy, but why buy it twice, right? Thanks Cora, as always, you rock!!! :-)
