one thing i'd like to throw out there is that if you plan to do this longterm, the pickaxe of earth and song is actually huge, i used elder rune pickaxe to about 120m mining xp, get this upgrade. good chance it's gonna be useful for mining/smithing update also lmao
I was doing this but with light and dark animica when going for 99. Absolutely worth it and if you have prif and the mining district is active you can make even more.
That’s what I did exactly as well for 99!
The thing is, you get more ores from Runite rocks an hour than the dark and light animica rocks which makes the Runite ores a little more an hour! For xp I would highly suggestion to anybody to do dark and light animica rocks anytime.

The XP is terrible for players that are trying to achieve level 120 or 200M XP. But it's decent for players that are trying to achieve level 99.
but why would I want to mine runite (a f2p ore) as a member? o_O
Profit margins are different with higher level ores due to how many times you have to hit the rock to get an ore. For example Runite rocks take about 2-3 swings to get an ore while banite rocks take 5-6.
You can afk the higher levels if pleased, the profit will be lower per hour is all.
Only 57 hours of non-stop mining to get 1 bond, fantastic if you ask me. if you have 8 hours a day to play the game (afk mining that is,) you can have whole 1 week of gaming with that time
As I see it, someone who has to work 10-12+ hrs a day, like I use to, will hardly have time for the high gp/hr methods that are high click intensive.
If I could afk money make a full logout timer, It's a no brainer in my opinion! Even if it is on the lower spectrum of gp/hr.
make 3-4 alts its not hard req's ezpz
