I love my flypress, it's a very versatile tool and surprisingly efficient but it is quite hard work to make damascus with it. for smaller billets from time to time it's great but if you make bigger billets or damascus very often I'd highly recommend a hydraulic press or power hammer if you can afford it. But the flypress is unbeatable in quietness, fine control and reliability.

I don't know but comparing to other presses on the internet I'd guess around 5 ton perhaps
how does damascus compare to 80CrV2
@@kanhdahar2 They perform quite silmilarly. I make my damascus from 80CrV2 and 15n20 so hardness, toughness and wear resistance are all very close.
