    What a world we live is where a) someone has the ability and tools to design a case that rivals professionally manufactured cases b) build or print this case at home c) film the entire process in high detail and d) chose to put the entire thing online - FOR FREE!!

    I've been wanting to do stuff like this. I really like the Mesh all around the case, it should breathe well. I have traditional vertical cases that I end up leaving open and placing a fan on them, especially during summer. Your penetration skills are exceptional in this video - rock on Homez.

    OOh I saw the with a radiator :O I was gonna ask if there was a watercooled version of this. I guess you could use a rad/pump/res combo, but for us already with a water res, is there any room for expantion so that a reservoir can fit above the gpu / cpu blocks (as in above so that gravity isnt a problem, not directly a bove)

    • @standupg4m3r
      @standupg4m3r  17 дней назад

      That’s really going to depend on your GPU and how long the PCB is. For spaces this tight and a long PCB GPU, combo units might be the play. Check out ModUltra and Barrow offerings.
      But we are also jumping a head of our selves, since there are at least two cases in flight as a type this…

    Cool design, but I feel like it'd be better if it the panels were made to be put together in some way. They are thick so maybe even some inner surface holding them together with screws could make sense. It's just weird for me to have it split like that and also that connection line is visible. With that said, it's really cool that it's not all that much amount of things to print thanks to those beams.

    • @standupg4m3r
      @standupg4m3r  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@SaperPl1 The visible split is a necessary evil to accommodate for smaller printers; unless they are filled and painted like the Steam Machine build (I hate painting and sanding though).
      I could easily glue/weld it as one piece though. Debated doing it actually - would save on hardware (magnets, T nuts, and screws).

    Thank you for your hard work! This is a well designed case. Could you please add the dimensions and the clearances? At first sight looked a huge case, but after seeing the the whole video I expect the size is around 6 liter, like the Velka 7. If that is true, that could be the 2nd smallest case which accomodate a decent sized GPU and an sfx psu.
    I like your diy magnetized screwdriver, that could be also mentioned as a big help to keep those hard to reach screws in place.
    Also the 180x180 print volume means that a KP3s also can print those files.

    If you designed the 3d printable files in cad. maybe share the files so people can modify it to fit larger GPU's

    Looks cool! However, I would be concerned about tabs snapping off at the layer lines, particularly the PSU mounting tabs.
    I printed a similar case by the name BeamCase (costs $15) which uses a single part, spanning across two of the makerbeams. Prints flat, no tabs, just holes thru the part.
