I really like this guy , he's what I call a true point guard, with a pass first shoot second mentality!!! He has great court vision , great ball handling and plays the passing lanes better than most point guards, and if u dare him to shoot , he will make u pay !!! Good luck Pablo !! And let's go KNICKS !!!!!!
I love prigs pass first mentality. The guy just cares about setting his teammates up. It's refreshing to see a team that will continually pass the ball in order to get a good shot. This is why I have such high hopes for the Knicks, when healthy (hopefully by February) they have such a deep roster they can throw an insane amount of lineups on a given night. And with Amare accepting leading the second unit, it makes the possibilities even better.
I use to admire Prigioni on the Argentina national team for being able to match-up to his NBA-teammates in the starting 5. C - Oberto (Spurs) PF - Scola (Rockets) SF - Nocioni/Delfino SG - Ginobili (Spurs) PG - Prigioni (Real Madrid) So glad he made it to the NBA too. And is doing well. :)
0:37 That's such an amazing pass. I know the dunk by J.R. was great, but I'm surprised this play's going unnoticed. No margin for error on that pass, and Prigioni somehow gets it between Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. Just watch it a couple of times. How in the world did he do that?
Vamoooooooooos Pabloooooooooo!! Qué bueno que te esté yendo así, representándonos a los argentinos como así también a los cordobeses en lo más alto del básquet!!
As a brazilian, I couldn't believe how much time it take to a NBA team take a shot at Prigioni! He's 35 years old and doing a nice job for a backup PG. He could be a starter 10 years ago. Spent too many years in Euroliga.
On January 31st of last year, I raved about Jermey Lin (before linsanity) and named him 'my favorite player'. I tweeted "Jermey Lin would get a triple double if he played a full game" " Jeremy Lin is my favorite Knick! He really knows how to fill up the stat sheet, Knicks need to play him more" "#LinShouldBeAStarter" "Jeremy Lin is the next Victor Cruz" I never thought he would be what he was, but I always saw the potential in him. With Pablo, I tweeted about how I loved him about a month ago.
PABLO, It's pretty apparent the Knicks are blessed to have this talent as essentially a third string when Shump gets back and Kidd plays less minutes and more 1 guard. I can see how he's one of Argentinas greats.
1. Prigioni is Argentine, not Italian. However, he is of Italian descent like Manu. 2. He has won gold at the FIBA Americas Championship, gold at the South American Championship, and bronze at the Olympics. He definitely knows his stuff. 3. He is so much better than Felton.
I agree, most of this team just needs to stay together, they don't need to start trading eveything away. 54 games in a first training camp is a great "Starting point" Just let them grow.
this guy was hated when he first signed for New York, i'm glad he's proving people wrong despite his age. Shows you a true pass first point guard can still do well in this league alongside all these athletic players like Irving, Walker etc
Better, this guy is a 35 year old rookie that has a Bronze Medal at the 2008 Olympics. Multiple awards in the Spanish league, Good defense and experience. Much, much better. I'm fucking oriental and i know about Prignioni, he's THAT GOOD. Plus he played at the 2012 olympics on the Argentina team so a lot of the world got to see him play and hold his own. Manu was on his olympic team too, he probably wasn't surprised.
man, you gotta be ballsy to even try those passes, and that steal and bounce pass to melo was awesome... keeping it simple but still looks flashy as hell.
Jeremy Lin barely scores now, he's the only true point guard in Houston Rockets at the moment. Where Pablo Prigioni, he's been recognized as a true point guard ever since he was in his basketball career.
he is a great 3 point shooter. He can do much better at the shooting area. He doesn´t take many shots. When he will start taking a few more shots, he will make many points
Damn i miss pablo. He was everything for the Knicks
0:45 "Pablo, push it up, Pablo!"
Really love this guy - definitely my favorite player since preseason.. Got his jersey
You're a real Knicks fan, respect
its a shame he came to the nba too old

Damn I miss this team
He is now assistant coach of the Timberwolves & coach of the National team of Argentina

Knicks fan here and I LOVE THIS GUY!! He is just funny to watch, so much hustle
MAN I MISS THIS TEAM
One of the best poin tguards of Argentina! Vamos Pablo todavía!!
Good olde days
a true point guard ... one of the few in the nba
i watched the game he really is great... am a fan now..
I wish this guy came to the nba before he was 35.. Very fun to watch
Such an underrated point guard. He reminds me of Lin where he hussle and worked every single minute he was on the floor.
thank you for your generosity
0:46 "Pablo push it up". And Prigioni pushed it up really well.
Vamoooooooooos Pabloooooooooo!! Qué bueno que te esté yendo así, representándonos a los argentinos como así también a los cordobeses en lo más alto del básquet!!
AWESOME AWESOME PLAY !!!
I'm not even a Knicks fan, but u gotta give props to that DAMN fine play by JR Smith!
That's right. Prigioni is an Italian name, just like Ginobili, Nocioni and Scola.
I love prigioni heck I love the whole knicks roster. But prigioni continues to impress me and long earned my respect with all those steals and dimes
Pablo for Rookie of the year. And MVP!!!!
As a brazilian, I couldn't believe how much time it take to a NBA team take a shot at Prigioni! He's 35 years old and doing a nice job for a backup PG. He could be a starter 10 years ago. Spent too many years in Euroliga.
pablo has been doing this for years!! good move by the knicks
man i love prigioni, rookie at 36 years old, he would never play in nba but he's succeded to. So smart
Those were some nice plays this guy can play holy shit
wow quality point guard. this guy can pass that rock
On January 31st of last year, I raved about Jermey Lin (before linsanity) and named him 'my favorite player'. PABLO, It's pretty apparent the Knicks are blessed to have this talent as essentially a third string when Shump gets back and Kidd plays less minutes and more 1 guard. I can see how he's one of Argentinas greats.

Is it just me, or is every single pass he made top 10 worthy?
welcome to Houston.
I can already see the alley oops and assists from Prigioni to Harden. Holy fuck
You can? Tell me what you see now
not really everyone knew that he was an experienced, respected, and one of the best PG outside of the NBA
He's from Rio Tercero, a small town in Cordoba province, Argentina.
1. Prigioni is Argentine, not Italian. However, he is of Italian descent like Manu.
2. He has won gold at the FIBA Americas Championship, gold at the South American Championship, and bronze at the Olympics. He definitely knows his stuff.
3. He is so much better than Felton.
Pablo is from Argentina, but he's/was Euroleague/Europe player. (10 years was playing in Spain)
I agree, most of this team just needs to stay together, they don't need to start trading eveything away. 54 games in a first training camp is a great "Starting point" Just let them grow.
if he had gone into the nba when he was in his 20s he would be a star right now
PRIGIONI RULES, ARGENTINA FOR THE WORLD
man that reverse dunk was nasty
That was impressive
this guy was hated when he first signed for New York, i'm glad he's proving people wrong despite his age. Shows you a true pass first point guard can still do well in this league alongside all these athletic players like Irving, Walker etc

keeping it simple but still looks flashy as hell.
Prigionisanity!
i love you
6 points and nine assists apparently deserves its own 1:40 second highlight
Dude went off. They didn't even miss Felton.
He is, if you don't have a new roster use 2K share and if he isn't on the team still go to situationals in roster and make sure he's active.
Pringlesss my man!
0:45 Pushed that Pablo pushed that Pablo!
Jr smith dunk was nasty
