👍👍I put an oem carb on mine. I too had issues, mine were with the impulse and the boot plate. Never replaced the boot though. The carb on it would lean out randomly, adjust it then it would be fat. Always chasing the tune.
I put the pop up piston and cylinder big bore on mine, then i got a used oem carb and coil and crankshaft, then got oem intake boot and fuel line. Did crank seals and a bunch of other stuff and of course it runs great after all that. It has a 195 psi and is a beast
I had compression on mine it was just the decompression valve and it was also doing the same as yours. After I plugged it the weird mid Rev stall went away.
I thought about trying out a clone saw myself and I have watched a shit load of videos to find out what people have to say about them and it seems to me that the 372s have the most negative issues and I see so many different opinions ,, I thought more like a 395 if I do it ,, but none the less ,,hope your back muscle straightens out soon and thank for another great video,,, all information helps us amateurs

I bet, that's some healthy compression 👍👍
I paid up and got ine of those Echo compression tester and my compression life changed big time! I had one like yours but yeah big difference!
This mityvac one seems OK, read 190 on the 288 yesterday
The issues I’ve had are mainly the throttle cable being too short or too long, then every 365/372 clone needed a timing advance
Advancing mine is on the list, even after porting it's very "meh"
@@chainsawcanuck I don’t think it cut that bad honestly
It's ok, but have run the taz xp that Aaron built and that kinda wreaked me 😂

Good to know👍👍

I 100% agree the 372 seem to have the most issues
