I’m pretty sure it grows underwater? I know that there are bacteria that like to feed off of it and stuff, and that is why bread is brown. We can eat the bacteria. If a bread isn’t brown, then it is sick, or poisonous. If the bread is black, the bacteria ate all the nutrients. Brown bread is the best.

as bread i can say i grow best in wet environments so underwater is great but the moist space under most household appliances will suffice if you don't live near an ocean
