Once I learned about headroom and gainstaging it changed my life man. Exporting a beat peaking at around -6 and then mastering it up to full volume just makes it hit so much harder
Simon: Don’t click in your melodies and move notes to wait for it to sound right Also Simon: plays random stuff on his keyboard and waits for it to sound right
You can play randomly as well! If you're not good with finding melodies, use Patcher and a the VFX Key Mapper. You can set it to remap the keys you press to stay within a key or even put in notes from another melody to find variations. ;-) Would be awesome if Simon shows us his take on this nifty feature of FL Studio!

Honestly if I were u I wouldn’t get the course only if u were a very beginner or inexperienced... tho I would get it if u don’t know music theory cuz he explains it well
dope vid simon! Just a little tip, for tuning 808s, you can open your 808 sample right click wav form, then open in audio editor then right click detect pitch regions then you will know what key it's in, and finally you can tune accordingly 🧨

Hey Simon, id really like to take your prolevel course. But I just can't afford it. Something around 50-70 bucks would be affordable for a student. I know that the course is surely worth the money. And Im sure you invested months of work in this course. And I'm sure it will improve my skills drastically. But it's too expensive for me, that's really annoying me. Id be a good student :/
