Last January 2024, I took my nieces to WDW and Universal. They are twin girls, weighing 255lbs at 5’4”. They did not fit in any of the same rides as you. They were very disappointed since they are huge Harry Potter fans (both are 2nd grade teachers). I, too, had a problem at Universal and WDW two years ago. Since then due to the Carnivore diet, I can ride everything with ease (and room). I’m not judging here at all but the theme parks need to add a row for our bigger people.

We went to Universal in July and Several of universals rollercoasters have “modified” seats that have wider seats and/or longer restraints! You can ask the team members outside the rides if that ride has a modified seat! Then when you get to the front of the line - you just tell them discreetly that you need a modified seat. 😊 most of the seat testers have one of the modified seats as well as part of the “double” seat testers. Hope that helps some people be able to ride ❤️

When I was at universal studios 20 years ago, it never crossed my mind about whether I would fit in any seat on the rides. Now 20 years later, I worry about fitting into a plane seat, in order to get to Florida. 😂

I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart! I’m 5’2” and just north of 300 lbs, and I’m supposed to go to Universal Studios next week. Like you I carry my weight around my belly, so I’m a bit anxious about how my experience will go with the test seats. I was watching some of your other videos, and I’ll plan to try the seats in the last row of the cars, but I’m crossing my fingers because this is my first time ever seeing The Wizarding World and I wanna experience as much of that as possible.

Not even a minute in, and I'm already strongly disagreeing with you. My daughter & I are both plus-sized, but we don't do rides for medical reasons. We ARE annual passholders at Universal. Why did you post a video 2 days ago that has outdated information? The kids' area is closed now for retheming.
*Universal is VERY vlogger-friendly.* Check Rix Flix, The Pugh Two, Jackie Super Enthused, Ginger Princess, Theme Park Express, PC Dev, and SO many others! *Pammie Plus Parks* was the go-to for fat-friendly ride info pre-covid.
1:06 - Minions Mayhem has benches, so pretty much everyone fits.
6:00 - the Simpsons Pink donut is NOT a Voodoo donut. It's MUCH better! Voodoo moved into the park only 5 years ago. The Springfield and its iconic pink Lard Lad's donut has been there for 15 years.
Everyone fits on the Hogwarts Express!

I love Plus size Pammie, I weigh close to 500 and I’m going to the parks in September as a gift to my parents and family trip I don’t do coasters at all since I was little and was able to fit. I know bench seat rides are the go too for me because of my size. Idk if you will see this before my trip but any advice for someone of my size?

I thought woody woodpecker and that kids area closed down to build the new dreamworks? Also the minion ride didn’t have a test seat bc it’s a walking path platform type ride that you stand on.

The NEW Minions VillainCon 'ride' is a standing platform. He's talking about the older ride across the street, which has benches that can seat just about anyone.

@@primmoore6232 I see now. Since this was posted 3 days ago I thought it was a recent trip. But woody and kidzone has been closed since Jan so villain wouldn’t have even been open yet.

As a 19st woman Harry Potter rides and Velocicoaster were too small, but everything else was fine. Rip Ride Rocket was out of action when we went. Everything at Disney was fine.

Not sure if you misspoke but in the video you mentioned being 380 pounds. In many of your past videos you were 345 pounds. Hope everything is okay.

Im 5'2" and 250lbs. I can ride everything in the studios park, but just barely rip ride rockit. They have since placed some plant walls around the test seats so that it's more private and people aren't always sitting on them! I can not do forbidden journey in the other park, I wouldn't bother with it at all for anyone who's not sure if they'll fit. I've done it many times years ago, it's a cool ride system but mostly screen based. Anyone who's read Harry Potter has probably noticed that JK Rowling is extremely fatphobic and likes to use fatness as a proxy for evil with the exception of the matronly fat woman trope for Molly Weasley. For that reason I never expected the land to be accommodating at all, and well, yeah. It's pretty bad. The fact that they removed two B&M inverts to put in an intamin coaster is not lost on me. B&M are innovators in ride accessibility, they have more accommodating restraints and have even designed a wearable accommodation for those who are otherwise disqualified to ride by a lack of extremities that are crucial to the function of restraints (parks providing that is a whole other issue) while intamin's representatives insist that their rides are not for fat people and they won't be working on that.
