Wanted to let you all know we stayed here last week and loved it! My kids really enjoyed the pools. The WiFi was our only complaint too but we stayed so busy it really wasn't an issue. Love your videos!
Great price and nice place. A lot of Hotels have Ridiculous prices they rip people off their prices go up and down I would call that price gouging. We will probably stay there the next time we go to Pigion Forge .

Great video. My husband and I just visited pigeon forge 3wks ago. We stayed at Rivergate Inn. What a underrated motel for being an older place. Similar to valley forge but way smaller but so relaxing. I will keep valley forge in mind for next time.
Great Location and the Breakfast looked good that what we always look for when choosing a Hotel. If it has a good one. And the Price was great can't beat that Price for a 4 are 5 days great deal.

Great location and price. I always put our clothes in the drawers after I wipe them down with lysol wipes. (the drawers not the clothes!!) We usually stay for 7 or 8 nights, so I like everything organized! Call me crazy!!!!
Me and my family loves to stay at valley forge inn it’s within walking distance just about everything I have been staying at valley forge since I was little. The owner is a pastor that’s why the scriptures is on the digital sign and the staff literally treats you like family the breakfast worker you got on the video with the voice is so friendly they got another one who treats you like family as well. every time we stay at valley forge inn the breakfast staff talks to us like we part of their own family I love the atmosphere and since they finally made it on all rooms and balcony a smoke free I really love sitting on the back balcony now I love the hot tub and pool and they also got mini suites and large suites. And on a side note when the Hatcher mountain fire in later part of March and first part of April was going on the owner let the firefighters stay free of charge and let them have a hot meal and a hot shower have you don’t find that at any other motel have a blessed evening. (I LOVE JESUS!!!!! /ROMAN’s 1:16).

Great price and location for sure! Have you ever stayed at the Norma Dan Motel in pigeon forge? It is very similar. It’s a little bit outdated as well but it is very clean, great pool, very good breakfast and very low rates as well. With everything in pigeon forge being so expensive, it’s nice to save some money on lodging. All your food/hotel videos around pigeon forge are awesome!

I have reservations for this exact room in August. I seen #234 on the door. According to picture online, supposedly they have taken the carpet up since your stay. I love Maples Motor Inn, due to the park setting. I have bad knees so I had to hang out some at hotel to rest them. I enjoyed sitting around back there on the picnic table watching the ducks/river/people. The ad for Valley Forge said Continental breakfast but you showed sausage. How is their blankets & pillows. That was another draw back on Maples, I was taking my own. I hang my clothes up if not wood hangers. I try & not lay anything down on wood die to bedbugs. I keep most stuff in the bathroom & tub. Bedbugs can't crawl on porcelain.
It's been a while since we have stayed here. We did like the location because we could walk to the Island. I thought the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were pretty good . The only bad thing about this hotel is the wifi is not very good. It is great if they took the carpet up. Have a good time. 😎😎
I love the Canadian geese in the opening of the video. Makes me think of one my husband Johnny and I got our baby goose Happy Feet because she wandered off from her parents the parents was chasing one of the other babies and then she got in one of our bushes and we adopted her she was crying missing her parents and we tried to find her parents but they were long gone.. then Happy Feet bonded and imprinted on us and thought of us as the parents which of course we were and years later one of her parents landed in our yard just to make sure she was okay well actually a year later and the other parent was circling around see they never forgot their baby ❤
Hello to you both from Columbus Ohio as far as I know you were the only RUclipsrs that ever did a review on valley forge autumn front desk is very friendly I always talk to her every time I've come down there I've stayed there three or four times over the past year.. the breakfast is definitely no frills for the price.. I love the location within walking distance of the island.. the only downfall about this hotel is the Wi-Fi and building 3 is terrible.. but you have a sign up in the front desk saying that they do not guarantee Wi-Fi.. that's a great price on that Sunday through Thursday but on the weekend they jack up their prices of course.
Yes I told them about the Wi-Fi and they showed me the sign. I couldn't upload any videos while I was there. I think we described the place as exactly what it is. Older, clean and small breakfast with awesome location. And at the end no Wi-Fi. But I would stay here again. Appreciate you watching John and we were surprised nobody has done this. i love the valley forge, it is so close to the island and so many great restaurants close by. i do take my clothes out but only swim wear and the rest i leave in the bags.
I think the picture you showed is from Valley Forge PA since the hotel is Valley Forge. When we stay for longer times we do use the dresser drawers after thorough examination.

I work as a desk clerk at the Valley Forge Inn 😊 The name is a play on words…”Valley” because the hotel is located in the valley beneath the Smoky Mountains, and “Forge” because it’s located in Pigeon Forge. They were added together and also used as a homage to George Washington at the Valley Forge in PA. Pretty neat!
i stayed at this hotel twice. the first time was in cooler weather and we stayed inside corridor overlooking the indoor pool. it was a spur of the minute trip and we got a great price on our room. the 2nd visit we stayed 4th of july weekend so it was slightly higher priced. and very crowded, the parking lot was crowded. on that stay we were put in a room on the far end where the breakfast room is located and while it was said no smoking, you could clearly smell stale smoke in the room. we had two beds and one slanted so badly it was like it was going to slide you right into the floor. but the breakfast cant be beat, the people who run it are absolutely dear people. the location cant be beat as you can walk to the island and save gas. i would stay again.
I haven't stayed at valley Forge inn for about 25 years. I wondered how they are these days. Most of the time, I don't unpack my suitcase. Depends on how long I'm going to be there. Five nights are longer I'll unpack. Short trips I don't. And I'm more likely to unpack at a cabin then in a hotel

I think it is the Quality Inn now. We don't live there but I'm almost sure that's what happened. Look that one up search Quality Inn near the Island and that's it today. 😎😎
We did not get in. We only have gotten in a jacuzzi at the Christmas Inn and the Fulton Steamboat in Lancaster ever. We don't use pools because either one of us can swim. LOL. and it doesn't excite us to get in pool. We would rather relax by something. 😎😎

Wow that’s great! How was the noise inside the room? Could you hear your neighbors? We have 2 little kids so having quietness throughout the night is important for us.
315 for 5 nights and here i tried to book a room near the shady maple place, in pa that you two went to, and they all want about 250 a night! one hotel i wanted was sold out and the other only had one room left. but 550 after fees for 2 nights. i didnt commit, yet i really wanted to stay a couple of days to try out that buffet with the hubby. sigh. so, you all got a good deal in dollywood there.
Try the Amish country Inn in Bird in Hand. It's a little bit away. but 120 a night. No breakfast though. We are staying there next. Great reviews and free Amish tour on bus it said. Look it up.
Never take my clothes out of the suitcase. Went to Hawaii for 10 days and still left my clothes in the suitcase. My friend who went with me, took her clothes and put them on a hanger or folded in the drawer. If I did that, I would surely leave something behind.
What a great deal! Breakfast was plentiful and super location! Depends on length of stay whether we unpack or not. Sometimes when we go to Myrtle Beach we'll stay 7-10 days and it's almost necessary to unpack so we have room lol Thanks for this one!
Oh I forgot to comment do I ever bring my clothes into the hotel?? No I don't even know I haven't seen any bed bugs in there every time I've been in there that still scares me. I don't want to bring any pets home with me
Was just wondering how you all got it for 50 dollars a night just watched your video and I said that was a great deal so we called to book a room for next week Monday and Tuesday night and I was told it was 98 dollars a night plus tax are missing something
We went it May. In June it will be higher especially on Weekends. But it's still going to be cheaper than others. Some hotels in Pigeon Forge are over 200 and some hit 300. 😎😎 The prices change alot in Pigeon Forge. Best time is in March and April. Rooms are so cheap. We stayed at Margaritaville for 118 then and now it will be 300. All when you go. 😎😎
Just looked at prices in Pigeon Forge on your dates. There are some hotels at 60 rate but be warned on most of these. They are very bad. This place is 94 if you book online. If you have any questions email us.😎😎

We put our clothes in the drawers that way the suitcase is like a hamper, and then we are pretty much packed!

i love the valley forge, it is so close to the island and so many great restaurants close by. i do take my clothes out but only swim wear and the rest i leave in the bags.
It's one the best locations in Pigeon Forge. It was a great deal for us that week. 😎😎

I think the picture you showed is from Valley Forge PA since the hotel is Valley Forge. When we stay for longer times we do use the dresser drawers after thorough examination.

I work as a desk clerk at the Valley Forge Inn 😊 The name is a play on words…”Valley” because the hotel is located in the valley beneath the Smoky Mountains, and “Forge” because it’s located in Pigeon Forge. They were added together and also used as a homage to George Washington at the Valley Forge in PA.

i stayed at this hotel twice. the first time was in cooler weather and we stayed inside corridor overlooking the indoor pool. it was a spur of the minute trip and we got a great price on our room. the 2nd visit we stayed 4th of july weekend so it was slightly higher priced. and very crowded, the parking lot was crowded. on that stay we were put in a room on the far end where the breakfast room is located and while it was said no smoking, you could clearly smell stale smoke in the room. we had two beds and one slanted so badly it was like it was going to slide you right into the floor. but the breakfast cant be beat, the people who run it are absolutely dear people. the location cant be beat as you can walk to the island and save gas. i would stay again.

I haven't stayed at valley Forge inn for about 25 years. I wondered how they are these days. Most of the time, I don't unpack my suitcase. Depends on how long I'm going to be there. Five nights are longer I'll unpack. Short trips I don't. And I'm more likely to unpack at a cabin then in a hotel
It's a older hotel but clean. Can't beat price and location. Unpacking surprised us how many do it. Thanks for comment 😎😎

We did not get in. We only have gotten in a jacuzzi at the Christmas Inn and the Fulton Steamboat in Lancaster ever. We don't use pools because either one of us can swim. LOL. and it doesn't excite us to get in pool. We would rather relax by something. 😎😎

Wow that’s great! How was the noise inside the room? Could you hear your neighbors? We have 2 little kids so having quietness throughout the night is important for us.

315 for 5 nights and here i tried to book a room near the shady maple place, in pa that you two went to, and they all want about 250 a night! one hotel i wanted was sold out and the other only had one room left. but 550 after fees for 2 nights. i didnt commit, yet i really wanted to stay a couple of days to try out that buffet with the hubby. sigh. so, you all got a good deal in dollywood there.
Try the Amish country Inn in Bird in Hand. It's a little bit away. but 120 a night. No breakfast though. We are staying there next. Great reviews and free Amish tour on bus it said. Look it up.

Never take my clothes out of the suitcase. Went to Hawaii for 10 days and still left my clothes in the suitcase. My friend who went with me, took her clothes and put them on a hanger or folded in the drawer. If I did that, I would surely leave something behind.

What a great deal! Breakfast was plentiful and super location! Depends on length of stay whether we unpack or not. Sometimes when we go to Myrtle Beach we'll stay 7-10 days and it's almost necessary to unpack so we have room lol

Was just wondering how you all got it for 50 dollars a night just watched your video and I said that was a great deal so we called to book a room for next week Monday and Tuesday night and I was told it was 98 dollars a night plus tax are missing something
We went it May. In June it will be higher especially on Weekends. But it's still going to be cheaper than others. Some hotels in Pigeon Forge are over 200 and some hit 300. 😎😎 The prices change alot in Pigeon Forge. Best time is in March and April. Rooms are so cheap. We stayed at Margaritaville for 118 then and now it will be 300. All when you go. 😎😎
Just looked at prices in Pigeon Forge on your dates. There are some hotels at 60 rate but be warned on most of these. They are very bad. This place is 94 if you book online. If you have any questions email us.😎😎
