What is a MOBA?
Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas, or MOBAs for short, originated as a sub-genre of the RTS (Real-Time Strategy) genre. Because of this, in most MOBA games, the player takes control of a single character from the isometric (top-down) view akin to most RTS games. Typically, in MOBA games, a player takes control of a single character on one of two teams. Those players choose characters that all have their own abilities, or “kits”. To win, the players must use a combination of abilities, teamwork, and strategy to not only best their opponent, but destroy the opponents main structures. A bonus to the genre is that most MOBAs are free games, which is definitely a contributing factor of the their massive success. The genre has many titles, the largest of which being Defense of the Ancients (DoTA) and DoTA 2, League of Legends (LoL), and most recently SMITE!
What is SMITE?
SMITE is one of the more recent free MOBA games to enter the fray. In SMITE you don’t just choose a character, you choose a god. You’ll instantly feel an attachment to characters like Thor and Zeus because even if you don’t know the lore behind them, you’ve at least heard their names before! What makes SMITE so immersive is Hi-Rez Studios’ inclusion of historical lore into the gods’ abilities, kits, and play styles. Thor and Loki aren’t just characters from Marvel comics and movies. They’re also a part of Norse mythology and you can take control of them in SMITE!
What makes SMITE different?
SMITE takes all of the strategy of the top MOBA games and adds another layer of difficulty by putting you into the action! Unlike most MOBA games, SMITE offers players the chance to experience the MOBA genre they know and love from a third-person perspective. This unique perspective allows for an extremely immersive experience unlike any other game in the genre. While this doesn’t sound like such a big change, once you play it you’ll understand! All of these things added together is what has gaming websites everywhere continually rating SMITE as one of the best MOBA games available!

Here is a bit of fun trivia: Elsa from frozen is based on H.C. Andersen's character the Snow Queen, and the Snow Queen is based on Skadi. :)

Elsa has almost nothing in common with the snow queen; though, you're right about it bring based off the tale - very, very, very loosely based off it.
+MoBeeLex Elsa in Frozen was originally plotted to be the villain. They changed it after most of the songs are written so you can look for the ost which has some lyrics about Elsa being the evil snow queen.

Russia made a movie based on the story some decades ago, it follows the story quite closely and is rather good actually, but the story itself is of danish origin.

Loki dropped into Skaði's lap, and Skaði laughed, completing this part of her atonement."

It is through watching these God Reveals that you can understand just how much time and consideration is put into every new God. Smite is incredibly well-designed and every new God adds something different to the game. The God Reveals are of great quality nowadays, and the voice actress is one of the best I've heard for this sort of role.

It's funny. The story I heard is that Skadi was only allowed to see there feet. She wanted to Baldr the god of beauty and so chose the most beautiful feet, but the feet belonged to Njord god of the sea whos feat had been washed clean by the ocean. With Skadi belonging in the mountains and Njord belonging by the sea shore it was inevitable that they would break up.

Fun fact: Here in dota 2, we have an item named eye of skadi. You will gain a passive cold attack (which will make enemies to move slower.) also you will gain plus 25 to all attributes. Plus 250 health and plus 250 mana. Just saying.

Well they're not wrong. Skadi did marry Njord but only because she was tricked. The God she wanted to marry was Boldur, Odin and Frigg's son. "Yellow was his hair, bright were his eyes, broad were his shoulders, he was very tall and handsome." As the old poems wrote. But Odin who's just as cruel and deceitful as he is wise and cunning did not wish for her to marry his son because of a past grudge he already had towards her. He told her she could marry any God she wished on the condition that she chose him by his feet. Which she accepted.
So all the Gods walked behind a curtain and removed their boots and the curtain was lifted just high enough so that only their bare feet were revealed to her. Without a moments hesitation she chose the fairest looking feet she saw, believing them to be Baldur. Much to her disappointment, they were Njord's.
They were only married 18 days. Skadi tried living in Vanaheim near the sea where Njord lived but thought the sun was too bright and she hated the Seagulls shrieking and shitting everywhere. Njord then tried living with her in Jotunheim but it was too damn cold and the constant howling of wolves made it hard for him to sleep at night.
And so it was Njord and Skadi went their separate ways.

if the god isn't moving when skadi activates her 3 on them they go nowhere and are basically stunned for the whole duration, additionally if they are slowed they go slower across it. just as a tip, so before they decide to change it, pair her with someone that has a root or stun and the enemy will get cancer
Role is not Hunter, Guardian, etc. You always do it wrong. Class: Hunter, Role: Adc, Solo, Mid. It's simple!!
