True, I am amazed at the engineering that goes into building vehicles.
These dedicated specialized auto workers are some of the best truck manufacturers in the industry.

I watched all 3 hours of it - most enjoyable. I had 5 Ram pickups through my work and have to compliment Fiat Chrysler on overall quality - fit and finish was excellent - ride quality - economy - power - reliability. I drove 4 of the 5 for over 50 thousand miles and would buy one if I needed a truck. Great video.

Why do they have those big plastic sheets over the vehicles? Do they stop the line when the production shift is over or keep it going 24/7? How do they start up the line after its been shut down - do they re-inspect each vehicle for correct part fitment etc?
A right hand Ram1500 cost between $130,000-150,000USD in my country. Someone’s making a shit load of money.

Working in those factories .Must be very noisey in those factories .

specialized auto workers my ass. Monkeys could be trained to do what they do. They get paid $30.00 in install and tighten a couple bolts per vehicle. With them being way over paid we all have to pay the price with expensive vehicles.

@@jamespn my brother is a contractor for FCA in Brampton, he absolutely hates the noise from stamping. I worked underground for 35 years and always wore hearing protection, it didn’t help as I am going deaf anyway.
@@papabits5721 I remember setting up a boring mill at Chevrolet Forge in Hamtramck Michigan, it was like fire and brim stone with bins of red hot differential ring and pinions everywhere, you had to be careful not to get scorched.

Wonder if anyone can answer my question, why are the brake rotors painted grey before they are even installed (see 15:29)?
It's a coating they carry to prevent rust until they're installed. I work in an auto shop, and all the rotors we buy are coated that color.
