Hi David. I have always enjoyed listening to your frank and insightful views. At 82, I look back and see that my best equity was always a blend of good human relations (#1), choosing ONLY great clients who were doing work I believed in (#2), and delivering the best work of which I was capable regardless how long it took or how it ate into a fixed project rate (#3). This built me a reputation as a guy who was a delight to hire, and who delighted his clients with unexpectedly delightful work. I continue to work as a photographer, occasional videographer, but primarily as a writer (story is all). I love to hear stories about people who have put together a great attitude, great skills, and great clients who are doing worthwhile work to improve the lives of others. I suspect you've been successful because you have the qualities listed - certainly you seem like a great guy to have on the set, likeable and with good communication skills, mastery of the tech, and a positive, upbeat attitude.
