I love how one vehicle has made Germany a good top tier again. The Leo2A7V has been the MVP this update and that's coming from a chally simp.
Edit: The Chally 3 may have an L55 but it's using Orion sights provided by Thales, a French company iirc. The LEO2A7V uses ATTICA sights.
crazy how long it took for germany to have the best leopard in game, even then the difference between the 122s and the 2A7V is really minimal besides gunner thermals, but it's still funny

I guess the Leo 2 A7 didn’t get DM63 or even his future amo DM73 because of ingame balance… still would have been cool to get the extra flat ballistic.
Dm53 is more than good enough German players don’t shut up my god
DM63 offers no improvement that matters in WT and DM73 offers only a small improvement (would be nice to have, but isn't going to change how fights turn out).

@@DecidedlyNinja while the largest change for dm63 was uniformity in combustion across temperature ranges it also had the added benefit to reduce the possibility for sympathetic detonation in the event of penetration. This would be a pretty big change in game as any vehicle which carried it would hypothetically have less chance of ammo racking even with the lower magazine in the hull.

Gaijin have just modelled it as a chally 2 with Leo 2 L55 and a better engine. Pretty much a 2E with gen 3 and better rounds.
@@Rempai420 still one of the worst top tier mbt, compare it to the leo 2a7 or t-80bvm, you dont have better mobility, you dont have better hull armor, you dont have better turret armor(which is what that crappy tank is supposed to be good at), you dont have a smaller silhouette, your ready rack is incredibly small despite the reload being good, and you only get a good round with the chally 3, which just has more hp, the transmission still limits it to 59 kph, the 2E actually has a new transmission which gets it to 72 kph
the only thing this thing has over the competition is reload speed, but thats taken away with the chally 3 anyway
@@skull1161 I know the limitations of the challenger in game. It’s armour is modelled horrifically too. There is something about the Chally tho that is just fun to play. It may not be as meta as the zoomie tanks but it’s got a certain charm.
Gaijin have had the bug report and the leak for the Challenger 2 for the longest time and still haven’t fixed it. They’ve only just fixed the mobility bug that made it almost impossible to turn on the move.
@@Rempai420 yeah that was a blessing, now they just need to give it new engine sounds they have been the same as the chieftain forever
