Hi Patrick. Thank you for your question. The MO-211 requirements can be found at query.prod.cms.rt.microsoft.com/cms/api/am/binary/RW10j3G. They include: Copy macros between workbooks, Record simple macros, Name simple macros and Edit simple macros. Phillip
Hi Patrick. Maybe this is a difference in terminology. When you record things in VBA, you create macros. The code in VBA can be generated by clicking on "Record macro". Phillip
Hi Andrew. Thank you for your question. The MO-211 exam is basically the same thing as the MO-201 exam, if you already have the MO-201, I wouldn't personally bother. Phillip
Can you provide a link to your Udemy courses please? I have passed the associate exam and would like to study and sit for the expert exam. Thank you for the RUclips video. It was very informative.
Hello Philip.. I'm doing your Udemy course and I am at section 5 and now I am thinking to book exam and will do the full vourse before exam date. But truly saying, I am quite nervous in booking the exam what should I do ?? Shall I just go for it or prepare more? I want to crack it in one try.. Btw I dohave prior knowledge about excel and VBA but I'd never used any of that in real world
Hi Btluvs. I would do an official Practice Test. The one you need is the Excel Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps). Please have a look at certiport.pearsonvue.com/Certifications/Microsoft/MOS/Practice.aspx for details. Phillip
Hi. Yes, you can do the MO-211 exam without having done any previous exams, and it will give you the "Microsoft Excel Expert" certification. However, if you are going for the Microsoft Office/Apps Expert certification (or similar), then that will require additional exams. Phillip
Hello, i regsitered for the course already and I'm loving it. However, i cant find where to take the exam in the UK, how do i go about this please. Looking forward to your response. Thanks
Hi Muhtashim. Thank you for your question. If you have already taken the MO-200 or 210, then you should add one. If you haven't, then I would take the MO-211, as it is the newer version. Phillip
Hi Charansurya. certiport.pearsonvue.com/Certifications/Microsoft/MOS/Certify/Excel.aspx says: To make the exam more helpful, we've replaced individual tasks with comprehensive, project-based testing. This live-in-the-application environment confirms that certified individuals have demonstrated the ability to complete a realistic Excel project. Phillip
Hi Klev. Thank you for your question. It may depend on your country - for example, you can in the USA. Please go to learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/exams/mo-211/ and click on "Schedule exam". If you are not in the USA, then click on the link in "If you are located outside of the United States, please contact one of our Certiport Solution Providers throughout the world." Phillip

Hey Phillip, awesome stuff! But ... why do you cover VBA? It's not outlined in the exam details.
