First time I ever heard you actually “bad mouth” a fragrance, I loved it , it was refreshing. We need a top 5 that you hate like that Jordan flanker you spoke , great stuff 👍🏻👍🏻
I've told him this so many times lol I love this side of him and he was speaking facts with the og micheal Jordan being amazing that was my childhood signature scent that and Adidas move and legend isn't something I like though alot do but mj legend is super weak 0 performance and smells really cheap
My man Ross!! I can appreciate you doing a video like this!! So many times reviewers simply talk about the best ones and not the lesser ones!! I am with you on that Dunhill. Got it on a suggestion--and maybe wore it 3 times!! It is like a cute girl with NO PERSONALITY!! Just sorts of doesnt fit with what you are trying to do...not a dress up, not a dress down, just a scent!!! MJ colognes are hit or miss...but you are right--that Legend is a beast!!! Ross we need some more Trash or Treasure!! Its been a while since you have done one!! THE PEOPLE WANNA KNOW! LOL. As always appreciate your opinions and reviews!
I'd personally like to know if you have any blind buys that you regret not only with smell but with price too, like higher priced fragrances. Yes, a lot of the cheapies can be hit or miss, but I've had a few later blind buys (because of a good deal, though the price was still "sort of" expensive) that were fairly pricey that I put on and said "No way, Jose." However, those experiences were almost little to none because I sample so so so much. Good video overall, man! Now a category that I'm in regret of (as I look at the top of my dresser with 15 fragrances I don't touch at all) is "Fragrances That I Liked Once, But Don't Like Anymore." I have a BUNCH of them, which is crazy, and a notable number of them I SAMPLED, LIKED the sample, LIKED the bottle, then like a few months to a year later, I can't stand the fragrance or something in maceration turns crazy in the air or on my skin and I'm like, "Really?" Those are the most disappointing buys PERIOD to me and I always hang my head in shame knowing that I used to like something but I just can't do it anymore.
Great video! Blind buy I regret buying is Mont Blanc Individuel. So many reviewers recommended it that I bought it and I tried to like it. I don't think it is an awful fragrance but just not my style.
I haven’t bought as many fragrances as you, but I have way more than 5 that I regret. And Dunhill Century is def one of them, although I’ve heard Century Blue is pretty good.
Yeah I took a chance on Dunhill Century as well and I was definitely disappointed.. but I do think the bottle is nifty. If you twist the cap the magnets repel it off for you
Just blind bought YSL Blue Electrique. It's ok. A bit youthful. People around me like it. It's certainly a La Nuit. Thanks for your honest review. Hugo's Energize, nope. Not for me either.
My worst fragrance purchases this year include: Boucheron "Jaipur Pour Homme EDP", Calvin Klein "Reveal for Men", Zirh "Ikon", Ted Lapidus "Altamir", Nikos "Sculpture", Lolita Lempicka "Green Lover", and a few more. However, this year, I got a lot of fragrances which I enjoy. I enjoy most of my fragrance purchases this year, and with most of my fragrance purchases, I didn't try them before I bought them.
@@DeflatingAtheism I don't prefer them. I think that L.L. "G.L." is boring and I wish that I bought something else with that money (I don't absolutely hate it though). I found Boucheron "Jaipur P.H. EDP" to be harsh and not something that I would want to keep smelling. However, as you know, you might be able to prefer them.
Your blind buys luckily weren't as expensive as some of the niche ones I've bought. 1. Montale's 'Ristretto Intense Cafe'. I badly wanted a heavy coffee scent to layer with some Kilians, and there is just too much rose in it. I'll occasionally figure out ways to still get use out of it. 2. I got a 100ml of Xerjoff's 'Comandante' and the problem that I have with it is that in the 1-4 hour range in the drydown it smells like a weaker version of 'Alexandria II' of which I've also had a 100ml for a few months now. Didn't need it and it doesn't excite me outside of that 1-4 hour range in the middle. 3. When I first got into niche, I blind bought Parfums de Marly 'Pegasus' at the same time with several other Marlys. I don't think I've worn it once, it's just collecting dust in the shelf. There's something that I just don't like about it, it's hard to put into words. Definitely doesn't help that it smells like a lot of designer scents that are available for fifth of the price.
I feel the exact way about every PDM I have tried they all came off just like a "designer" and didn't stand out to warrant a purchase. Also had me think people say they so amazing just because it expensive or "niche"
I completely agree with you on dunnhill century. Not at all what I expected and it doesn’t jive with my skin or nose very well. On the other hand dunnhill century blue is very nice IMO, it’s similar to acqua essenziale blu.
OMG. I’m so devastated that you don’t care for my favorite fragrances. What am I going to do. Oh that’s right I’m an actual grown up that enjoys fragrance reviews, yours included, but still a grown up who’s not going to get butt hurt because people have different opinions than me. I agree with you on prestige black. That’s straight up garbage and I’ve only heard good things about MJ Legend so I picked it up at Ross for $11. There's really only one I didn't care for that you recommended and that was SJ 3am not a bad scent just not for me bottle was awesome though.
Interesting about Dunhill Century , picked up in Burlington during spring and on first wear thought I had my signature scent ( for my age & lifestyle ) . To be fair at that time my collection was pretty small under 10 bottles . As I collected more Century collected dust , especially when I learned about Niche decants . This fall I looked in my Fall/Winter cabinet and thought a few times about SOTD & Century but still passed it over …. Maybe I’ll give it another try next week .
Totally subjective. I regretted A&F First Instinct Together. That's why I sent it to you lol. I was wearing Oligarch today which I think is gorgeous and got told by a co-worker that I smelled like PineSol. 💁♂️
I couldn't agree with you more about Dunhill Century. However... If you come across it at a rack store, Dunhill Century Blue, is a fragrance I think you wouldn't be disappointed with.
Thank God for this video. I only have $10 and wasn't sure if I should spend the money on Micheal Jordan 23 or a pack of smokes? Thank you for making the choice easy for me lol. Jokes aside I regret buying Terre D'Hermes and Aqua Amara. They are basically the same fragrance only one is the land dirty orange smell and the other is the ocean dirty orange smell. Not horrible scents, but I can just never click with them. I always feel very aware that I have them on and wonder if other people are liking them or hating them. I have a few others that I dislike, but only because they lean way too girly for me.
I just recently Blind bought Bvlgari Man extreme and Philip pline no limits the bvlgari was awesome but the Philip pline smells a little offputting do you have no limits what do you think about it?
I know I’m going to get a lot of flack for a few of these but my worse blind buys 1. Amouage jubilation XXV 2. Bond No.9 Signature 3. Amouage interlude man 4. Mancera Sicily 5. Lacoste Lhomme Luckily I bout a decant first of Bvlgari Garanat. Safe to say I’m not a fan of Rose and oud together

I like Dunhill Century… It’s ok. I agree with strange dry / creamy aspects that sound contradictory, but it’s true. I’m very similar to you. In that I can find the positive in just about any fragrance… But, I could just not get behind Vince Camuto Virtu.. it is also compared to Santal 33… Based off the notes and some of the fragrance comparisons, seems like something I would like… But it’s just bad.. Very interesting video and very relatable! We've all been there, at least those of us who collect fragrances, so I have a feeling that this video is going to be a hit! Now, one that I also own from your list that I 100% agree with you on is Dunhill Century. Only, for me at least, it straight up STINKS off my skin! There's just no easy way to say it, but I'll put it as gently as I can. Century comes off my skin with the STRANGEST dirty woman's nether region accord! Oh, btw, to get the cap off your bottle easier, give it a twist bro.
My brother had an unforgivable Sean John that smells like cat or dog piss and the smell wouldn’t leave my hand. And I know unforgivable smells good and other brag on it. I think it’s possible to get a bad batch at times.
Started sweating when I saw the Ferragamo because I got a box that I bought this summer that I haven't opened yet. I think i bought it off your review. Just sprayed its cool. I'm glad I got the darker bottle instead of the one u don't like. Reminds me of Dolce Light Blue Intense. Another gym scent if nothing else. 🤷🏾♂️
@@TLTGReviews Yea idk why I thought it was a fall scent. I could have worn this all summer. I looked up the vid and sure enough u recommended the dark bottle months ago. Its solid especially for the price. I get a very sea salty and sour citrus Light blue intense whiff. I'm wearing it to the gym tomorrow. Good recommended.
Dunhill Century is decent by itself but way better as a layering scent with weak projecting Blue Fragrances cuz of the Sandalwood and Cipriol base notes imho.
Had some flops but overall I do good with blind buys cause I have a "$30 and under" rule when it comes to blind buying (sometimes i'll go $40). Last bad one I had was Hugo Boss Dark Blue which smells nice but performs lousy for me and I can barely smell it after 30 minutes. Sidenote: Digging the AEW gear🔥🔥🔥🔥
Right on!! I have to be 100% certain before I blind buy. Luckily, I have THOUSANDS of samples. Out of my favorites, turned into bottles. Only issue I have now is outgrowing some fragrances. Thanks Ross
Here recently I've had a couple blind buys gone wrong. CDN Milestone ended up smelling like Windex on my skin. Code Absolu smells great, but found out that I go anosmic to it within minutes, same with A&F Fierce.
Whoooooa lol I forgot I had that 23 Jordan as a kid. That literally might be the very first fragrance I ever got and it was a gift for Chrisman from my aunt. This was probably "96". I never wore it 😕
I regret blind buying John Varvatos and Nick Jonas silver, it's not bad but just generic to my nose so I traded it to my cousin for Burberry Touch which I enjoy.
My 5 blind buy regrets are: *Vicky Tiel Ulysses. Got what I pd. for it at Maxx,8bux!🤢 *David Beckham Respect. Not bad but lasts about an hour. *Versace Man eau Fraiche. Sorry Ross, i got that one on your 👍. But like 'Pac, "I ain't mad atcha". 😁 * Tous, don't remember the scents name,9bux at Ross. Vile stuff🤢. *Halloween Men,another 9bux wasted, even worse than any of the aforementioned 😖🤢! I gave them to a womens homeless facilty, where I volunteer on the 1st Sunday of every month. There are only 4 women there at this time so they were so happy to receive them. I kept the David Beckham. I spray my linen down with it. It turned out to be good for at least that. CatB🧡
I blind brought the dunhill century also and my wife hates it😆….She thinks and me also it smells like walking inside a “ Footlocker”…I just spray it on my dogs just to to prank her when they come for hugs 😂😂😂it’s the worst
I've definitely had a few blind buys I wasn't a fan of. Paco Rabanne Pour Homme was one of them, thankfully I was able to sell it. Now, one that got absolutely trashed was Jacques Bogart One Man Show Gold Edition. I do NOT recommend that to anyone except the trash can😂
You can't win them all...so true. So far, I've had only a few bad blind buys...Thallium from Yves de Sistelle comes to mind. By the way...AEW is pretty good. I miss TNA from the 2000s.
TLTG is #AllElite LOVE IT! I don't regret many of my 2021 purchases. I've been mostly lucky this year. If I had to pick one, An-ec-dote After Hours which is in between 212 VIP and 3 AM I'm not all that against the fragrance mind you. It does smell good actually. Just weak. Sadly a rare Belcam made fragrance that doesn't perform... had it not been under $7, I would be more mad about the performance of it. I disagree about 23 Jordan. My brother who is a total fragrance normie who wears just that a bleu de Chanel clone, 212 Men and Gravity, also enjoys it. It is a nice clean Acqua di Gio style scent that smells better as the alcohol burns off. Michael Jordan Michael Jordan however is more alcoholic and it effects the fragrance. I didn't totally think that at first though...
Way to commit soldier! I don’t have into the surf so I’m safe☝🏻 I have og subtle so I’m safe☝🏻 I passed on hugo energies so I’m safe☝🏻unfortunately I do have dunhill strike one👎🏻 I don’t have 23 so I’m safe ☝🏻 wow I’m batting over .300 boys!
I pretty much blind bought everything in my collection. I have had mostly good luck. I would say the 2 least favorite bottles in my collection are dunhill desire intense and Halloween man X, but they were both cheapies so no big deal. I gotta say it, I don't get why everyone hypes up Halloween Man X it's boring, overly synthetic, and I don't pick up the coffee note people talk about in it at all.
The holloween x is literally like a a spilled stain of morning coffee on your clothes to me I don't know why they hype that shit at all .....Because its cheap🤨👃
@@DeflatingAtheism I can agree with that, but sometimes I can get down with an ugly bottle. For instance I like the CH bad boy bottles even though most people think they look stupid
I don't have a large collection so here's my top 3 blind buys that I regret buying in 2021. Fortunately they were all inexpensive: 1) Vince Camuto Man- makes me nauseous. 2) Hollister Wave 2- doesn't smell horrible but it's too youthful for me. Smells like it's made for a 12-yr. old girl. 3) Abercrombie & Fitch First Instinct Blue- very bland and generic on my skin.
Tiziana terenzi siene, it was just smoke in a bottle. Maybe I got a bad bottle but damn! Worst blind buy ever. Second worst blind buy, roja dove sweetie aoud. So incredibly cloying. I love Roja dove! But sweetie aoud was impossible to enjoy, it reminded me of my grandma and it 2as 550 bucks. 😆 they definitely all can't be winners, but I never dismissed a house based on one fragrance. Sweetie Aoud might be a banger for some, but definitely my biggest let down.
I kinda went crazy on alexandria cuz they price is right and I had a few that imho are better than their inspiration. Had like 8 that I was on the fence about (creed/pdm/tf/in house) great frags and crazy close again but not for me. For instance I love Tom ford but oud wood intense smells like a bandaid. A used one. Alexandrias is more wearable imho, but still castoreaum x 100000000+ yikes.. So I was frustrated cuz its like 600$ of ehh. Enter Facebook. I've been able to trade a lot w ppl who are interested in things I might not be, and its been rad. Never liked fb. Now its not so bad.
Blind by regret for me is lacoste style in play or lacoste red some people call it even doe I do were it here in there I just honestly think it's boreing
I blind bought Bentley Intense and I regret it. Poor quality control. My bottle smells like crap. Sour smoke and that’s it. Has none of the notes everyone talks about.
Penthouse Powerful Is still the worst fragrance I have ever smelt. It only cost me $5 and I was so angry that I wasted that money on it. I make good enough money to were $5 is nothing, and I was still so pissed that I wasted $5. That's how bad that was. It actually made me stop blind buying fragrances unless they're from a well-known house.

I went through like three bottles of the original Subtil back in the day.
I freaking LOVE Dunhill Century, and maybe actually prefer it over santal 33 cause it projects better.
I think on the Dunhill Century you are supposed to twist the cap so that the magnets repel each other - then the cap pops off.
It just spins
Haha... that was a good ending. I'll be thanking you by avoiding that experience 😁
Right on!! I have to be 100% certain before I blind buy. Luckily, I have THOUSANDS of samples. Out of my favorites, turned into bottles. Only issue I have now is outgrowing some fragrances. Thanks Ross
Great vid
Here recently I've had a couple blind buys gone wrong. CDN Milestone ended up smelling like Windex on my skin. Code Absolu smells great, but found out that I go anosmic to it within minutes, same with A&F Fierce.
Not in to wrestling anymore but like the AEW gear Ross. Nice video
Do "The perfect fragrances for 10 of your favorite AEW wrestlers." video.
Rockin the AEW gear too. LOVE IT! 💪
Happy to see an other AEW fan
Well…:you can always throw them at home intruders 😂😂😂
Whoooooa lol I forgot I had that 23 Jordan as a kid. That literally might be the very first fragrance I ever got and it was a gift for Chrisman from my aunt. This was probably "96". I never wore it 😕
I regret blind buying John Varvatos and Nick Jonas silver, it's not bad but just generic to my nose so I traded it to my cousin for Burberry Touch which I enjoy.
I bought Century for the bottle and reviews.....I gave it away so fast.
My 5 blind buy regrets are:
*Vicky Tiel Ulysses. Got what I pd. for it at Maxx,8bux!🤢
*David Beckham Respect. Not bad but lasts about an hour.
*Versace Man eau Fraiche. Sorry Ross, i got that one on your 👍. But like 'Pac, "I ain't mad atcha". 😁
* Tous, don't remember the scents name,9bux at Ross.
Wow love the video bro stay motivated dream Big 1 Mill on the way
Tony Khan must have sent some expensive fragrances your way to be head to toe in that AEW merch 🤘🏽
Nope. Just bought some gear and wore it. Thank you for watching nonetheless
I've definitely had a few blind buys I wasn't a fan of. Paco Rabanne Pour Homme was one of them, thankfully I was able to sell it. Now, one that got absolutely trashed was Jacques Bogart One Man Show Gold Edition. I do NOT recommend that to anyone except the trash can😂
I bought Cremo Bourbon Vanilla. Bad blind buy on my part. 😞
I regret Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Colonia. It smells very similar to my 80 year old great aunt's perfume. I also regretted Hugo Energise.
AYYY! Ross is an AEW fan! That makes me like you even more dude! I’m going to the Orlando show Saturday!
Worst blind buy I made was Versace The Dreamer. too powdery for my tastes
Erba Pura is my biggest regret in history. Found what I thought was a fantastic price and quickly realized why. I gave it away a week later.
Great video and I don't usually watch your videos.
Respect the AEW gear!
I agree. For an affordable coffee scent I say grab Polo Red Extreme asap instead as it was discontinued.
@@j_riv_23 I hear polo double black is a good coffee scent, but not exactly a cheapie. I think it is also discontinued
@@johngregorio9183 Yeah. With some strange bitterness to it. Also hated it.
Bvlgari Black. Smells like burning rubber. Wore it three times. Still have the full bottle to prove it.
Ferragamo F, Boucheron, ferrari red are my worst blind buys.
Beard is on point bro!! Generally my blind buying has been successful but I have sold a lot because I just wasn't reaching for them. 👍🏻
Cremo Spice and Black Vanilla…had to pitch it. Smells like potpourri oil and won’t go away.
I was wearing energise back in 05 and thought it was awesome. Smelling it now not so much.
respect for being an AEW fan. On the right side of the war brother
Do a niche list. A ton of those are overhyped, overpriced and straight garbage.
I like all of my niche fragrances. So that isn't a video you will see on my channel. Sorry man
The cap is magnetic. Turn it and it comes up. Century that is.
Just spins. Doesn't pop up like most magnetic caps
@@TLTGReviews Must've been a bad magnet. Mine works 60% of the time, every time 🤣
Montale Honey Aoud and Intense Cafe.
I cannot find the occasion to wear them 🤣
Damn. I love those lol
I like Intense Cafe. I don't care for Honey Aoud though.
Jeremy Fragrances said Dunhill Century smells so weird.
Never tried century but century blue is good .. my worst blind buy is mango manga and I paid $100 for it and it literally smells like vomit 🤮
Biggest regret has to be overspending for a generic cool water game happy summer fragrance, nice bottle super generic summer frag.
Paris Hilton for Men. Over-rated, ridiculously sweet, poor performance. Lucky it was cheap. Also could never get into Versace eau fraiche.
