2:36 This is what non Blacks can't quite understand. Those that have a loving heart appreciate this is a big moment in America. But as Sunny pointed out, for many accomplished women of color, we are used to being the only one in a room of "other races"

He was as QUALIFIED if not more at the time of his nomination as Ketanji Jackson. In reality her only claim to fame is that she comes from the Defense side of the street - that's it. Y'all get amnesia quick and forgot that she wasn't his first choice - she was his SECOND CHOICE - the nominee before her was deemed "not far left enough" and opponents on your side of the fence pressured Biden into picking Jackson. So obviously she wasn't the most qualified candidate nor the only one - but she had the background in her rulings that got her thru to be nominee. She was willing to play the game, why else would she not be able to tell us the definition of a woman? Biden explicitly said that he would pick a Black woman - immediately eliminating any other racial demographic. Same thing with Kamala Harris - y'all like to think that she was selected for her qualifications, but she's only there due to political pressure from Black politicians and to pander to Black voters - as you can see it wasn't the wisest of selections. When Democrats stop basing everything that they say or do on race and gender then you can call someone a "duck"... because from what I see they ain't doing s@@t for me.

Love Sunny, Bravo! However, I am confused about why they are putting someone like Alyssa Farah Griffin on a panel where she is treated like an authority? She was active functionary to the racist trump (lower case intentional) administration.

And I echo your feelings about her realness and poise. She’s a phenomenal woman.

Their ancestors who were enslaved and forced to abandon their families, language, AND culture, brought to this country, had babies cut out of the wombs of mothers, men's penis's cut from them as they were hung alive from trees, women raped in front of their husbands as children were forced to watch.....WERE slaves and THEIR blood STILL SPEAKS to theiri descendants, from the grave! One who lacks empathy or compassion could not possibly understand! That being said.....do some research and maybe you WOULD gain some understanding!

Anna brought up a good point but I think it almost counteracted what she was trying to say. I did not remember the fact that Reagan appointed the first woman Justice. I remember all the harmful economic policies and the war on drugs that have disproportionately affected black communities and Hispanic communities. It just goes to show that you must still improve the lives of your citizens and they’ll remember if you have hurt them EVEN IF you make historic appointments. YOUR POLICY IS YOUR LEGACY, YOUR APPOINTMENTS ARE THEIRS AND THE COUNTRY’s!
