Why are you all comparing it to ps4 and ps5, those are separate consoles... The hardware component in your switch is not different from the hardware components in your android phone... Hope you all know this... So compare FIFA 22 on switch with like say pes 21 or pes 22 on android, because that's more serious soccer game than FIFA mobile on android... I'm yet to play FIFA on switch but I know it makes sense due to what Iv been seeing so far... But once pes mobile adds offline mode, the ability to play champions league, ability to watch your replay in game, and other minor but important features we have been waiting for since 2017/2018...then I might drop FIFA on switch... I just bought FIFA 22 on Switch and the worst part is the game engine. If you're used to playing on a Playstation it is a completely different game. Dribbling is bad. Defending is awful. Passing is painful. It is not a good FIFA experience.
I'm not a Fifa player but I tried Fifa 21 on the Switch portable and didn't look too bad. I brought it to a friend's house who had Fifa 21 on the PS4 Pro and even portable looked and played cool even though it's not 100% the same... Even not being a Fifa player I think it's still a great game to play on the Switch portable with small matches that you can burn time wherever you are and turn off the screen when you want and forget about it. It's a miles better game than most since it's very hard to play like very story driven games while playing portable outside home, you will never pay full attention to it. And since switch sadly lacks Analogue triggers racing games are beyond disappointing but sports games are perfect. ps: But sure it's stupid that it misses quite a few stuff but you won't get better anyway in terms of portable gaming unless using those small PC expensive consoles and just running Fifa or PES or whatever...

I have played PS4 & PS5 back to back but tbh if i never got the Nintendo Switch Lite to play Fifa 22 I wouldn’t know how fun, There is a different type of vibe with the Nintendo Switch Lite though yeah EA needs to do alot of work and upgrade but lol it’s not even bad as how people make it look. I've tried FIFA 22 Legacy Edition on Nintendo Switch and I thought it was rubbish. There were no anthems for the football teams and the free kick and penalty kick system is the older system. And I didn't like the graphics of the player faces, the pitch and when you missed the target the commentator would always just say 4 sentences. But thanks for doing the gameplay.
On PC You can Actually Get these Squad Updates Unofficial For Free . They schould Sell this Squad & Design Update as a Add On for Around 10-20€ But they Really Want 39,99€ in the Nintendo eShop for this . Atleast they Could do some Little Feature Upgrades For Example you cant Teach Players new Positions in the Manager Mode .

No effort at all goes into it.

I heard it missing some features and it’s been the same for a couple years but the easy of use on the switch is always a bonus. Just depends on what sort of fifa player you are. And you always had to play a UEFA Champions League Career to play UCL Group Stage, UCL Semi Final and UCL Final.

Is there going to be Switch 2/Pro any time soon? I am considering Switch, but maybe it might be a smarter idea to just get the Xbox S and the annual game pass ultimate. It's cheaper than Switch that requires buying games, probably a Pro controller, and knowing me I'd probably buy a bunch of stuff I don't need. But then again, there's something about Nintendo...

@@markomarkovic5729 I would always go with next gen and PC for games like fifa. I think switch will be decent if you aren’t a hardcore player. I heard it missing some features and it’s been the same for a couple years but the easy of use on the switch is always a bonus. Just depends on what sort of fifa player you are. For the EA to keep releasing on switch means it’s still got a healthy playerbase in my opinion. I was contemplating switch but I think I’m getting it on PS5 ha

Yes, there is ultimate team. But on Nintendo switch FIFA 22 there is not the new 'create a club' mode
