great video. sir, my tally is on cloud by a 3rd party. how do I configure it to transfer data to SQL and then to power bi? could you help me with this?
If you have administrative control on your Tally on Cloud Windows Server, then you can install Tally to Database utility to sync data to Azure SQL Database. Otherwise you have no option.
we spoke to server guy, he said he can do it if we guide him. is there any particular steps to be followed? can you provide this service against a charge or something sir (pls don't mind me asking). i can call you if needed.
Yes, utility supports multiple company sync. In that scenario, you will have to edit the file run.bat of utility via Notepad++ and then follow the example I have demonstrated on the below link (it's sort of extended help page of the utility) github.com/dhananjay1405/tally-database-loader/blob/main/docs/commandline-options.md
@@ExcelKida Do I need to have each of these companies logged in? As I understand, the windows user who is running tally-database-loader must have a Tally session and be logged into each of the companies he wishes to query, right?
Yes, you need to be logged in into all those companies. Utility will ask Tally to fetch data from one by one making them active. Just ensure to keep Tally idle without any external interference when this sync is running.
Happy to see your video after a long time. pls post regular updates on tally power bi dash boards like sales and purchase analysis. all the best

You need to get NodeJS installed by your administrator. Utility is portable & has no installer as such, it is pure download, extract & use type.
Is it possible to sync multiple companies? I have hosted Tally in MS Azure and have mkultiple companies in the same system
