I live in a village in the Phillipines, and it on December 31, it wasn't even 12 P.M yet, and the people were already settings off all kinds of fireworks 😂

In NYC, you can only see the fireworks at Times Square. In PH, it could be anywhere or everywhere!🇺🇲🇵🇭
While the rest of the World have once in a lifetime fireworks display, in the Philippines its way of living. The duration of the fireworks being lit up and the incredible noise from 6pm Dec 31 all the way to 11pm Jan 1 and the incredible number of people who succumb to injuries and death is nothing like it anywhere in the World! lol

and what you are seeing is just the fireworks.. you haven't seen those prohibited firecrackers that are being lit on the ground, the loud ones, like judas belt, triangle, fountain etc. in every residential streets.. it's amazing how no matter the inflation people seem to really alot budget for fireworks and firecrackers to celebrate the new year and I love that! cheers! @@jackieInPhilippines that was the usual time frame of New year's celebration in Manila it start at night time then it deafening before Midnight then you can't here what you are saying when Midnight comes then it lasted until 3:45 am then you will hear police trying to stop people from lighting fire crackers that was in the early 80's

Despite the Philippine politicians best efforts to kill this long-time tradition of using firecrackers/fireworks in welcoming the new year, Filipinos just can't be restrained by these stupid ordinances/laws. We just spit on those threats of arrests and fines.
I can literally still hear fire crackers.
@@jackieInPhilippines💯% true! Lots of Filipinos (especially in rural areas) leave a portion of their firecrackers inventory to use in the next few days of the new year while the festivities slowly fade and go back to the normal everyday life. 😅
