Why You Should Try Managing with a Real Player!

- A surprisingly high amount of people actually dont realise you can manage as any real player on FIFA, and its super easy to do! Today i’ll be showing you exactly how, and sharing 10 options that i think will lead to a super fun career mode save.
Of course its not a given that a world class footballer becomes a world class manager, but thankfully that doesnt matter on FIFA! Thats what makes this part of career mode so interesting. Anyway, how do we actually play as a real player?
We’ll use Cesc as an example. Simply load up player career mode, select his current team, Como FC, and once you're in the save, retire as Fabregas. This will give you a selection of teams that are usually between 0.5 or one star lower than the team they were on. Lets say your goal is to retire and start coaching at a small Spanish side, with the goal of taking over Barcelona.
If you want to start in the second division, put the player at a team like Mallorca before you start your save. If you want to go straight to Barcelona, you’ll have to be at one of Madrid, Barcelona or Atletico. It’s that simple! You’ll get a real faced manager and be able to do a full 15 season career mode save.

I feel like it'd be nice if we could choose any face-scanned manager (even if they got sacked). Becuase Gerrard or Lampard are now lost in the files and we cant choose them which is pretty dumb
ikr! i've always thought it would be cool to try and resurrect a sacked managers career.
At least put them at a placeholder club which doesn’t have manager in the game
Unfortunately because of the license since the managers are not a part of a licensed team anymore, EA need to take them out of the game😢

Im also shocked we dont have more managers to choose from.
FIFA22 Anderlecht had now Burnley manager Kompany fave scanned, so why isn't he available if they already have a face scan not that old? I'd love to do a Kompany as Man City manager career
If they added club legends as options it would be nice, like I could click on macnester united, go with current manager, or go with someone like scholes, Ferdinand, van der saar. Same for some renouned teams. They could also add a trophy cabinet, because right now it is too boring, an overall stats for club, not just for the current season you in so you could see club top scoreer over the seasons ever since you took over. Keep managers more involved in trophy lifting, treating treble wins as something major and not something casual. A lot of suggestion but they would never implement
True. This is not gonna happen with EA
@@Stoicism1989 they could also add, past 5 or 6 years kit, so everytime a new season starts you can change Kits. It would be cool. And the ai also does that for the teams.

I’m currently managing Hertha Berlin as Ted Lasso until the MLS update comes out… I wish the Brasileirão was in the game so I could use Flamengo though…

I’ve created Xabi Alonso with the aim of winning the league title with Bayern, Liverpool & Real Madrid or Sociedad. Along with the champions league with each club and become the most successful Spanish manager of all time. Firstly though I want to win the Bundesliga with Leverkusen
Already doing the CESC FABREGAS career mode - started with Saint Ettiene, then Arsenal and now Barca. Making them win their 7th Champions League title - Will end it by finishing up at CHELSEA!

Retire Tom Cleverly from Watford. He played at Bradford City at Youth level so start him there if that job offer comes. And your aim is to either get a job at either Watford where he reached an FA Cup final or Manchester United where he won a premier league and two community shields and maybe win an Fa Cup with Watford or the Champions League with Manchester United
Or retire with Choupo-Moting and coach Hamburg his home town!
Or schalke or mainz or the potters his old clubs!
Then progress to PSG or Bayern as he has good relations there too

I retired Diego costa, 3 trophies in 3 years Bournmoth to go to Chelsea and win UCL, but it got too boring because of so many regens. Other teams are not making realistic signing, Everton signed Gavi, in what world is that gonna happen? The AI is stupid, playing Alejandro Gomez in CB, FIFA is doomed but it is closest we ever come to something real football career mode.
Gavi is in Wolverhampton in my save. But I like regens though.
In Fifa 22 I did a manager career with Akinfenwa, but in interviews and press conferences he had a generic skinny body that looked so wrong 😂

Here's an idea, choose Ryan Fraser and have him start a managerial career with the goal of being Eddie Howes' rival and becoming Newcastle manager or become manager of Sunderland and have them beat Newcastle to the title 😉

Can your player ever get offered their current club when they retire? For example, can Fabregas get offered Como?
No sadly not if you retire at Manchester City as Scott Carson it would give a Lower league team either a EFL team or other teams depends on what league your player retires in
Santi Cazorla - try and win the league with Villarreal and/or arsenal. Try and win the World Cup with Spain as well

I won't do real managers all the time as it gets repetive playing as them all the time use players but Don't retire them immediately.
Can you play as any player aswell in career?

If I'm not wrong, you can also not retire inmidietly and play a couple seasons as player and then become a coach wich is really interesting, also you could also get up to 2053 if you start at 16 in player career mode and that's just crazy
Nah sorry for braking your dreams but career mode is 15 season. Doesn't matter if you play 14 and retire it will always be 15. You can't go past the 15 season no matter what (exept for some modes)

@@chadialachi2366 thats one of the reasons why i like career mode on PC, you can just turn off the 15 season limit with Cheat Engine

@@johnnydepth6523makes sense for the older players eg Messi at 35 you play until he's 40 Zlatan you can just play 1 there's other old players in there 40s buffon, the malaga striker ect start as buffon and play until he gets to 50

I am trying to start a career with James Milner at Leeds United but for some reason when I retire Leeds never offers me the job, any suggestions?
Instead of retiring at the beginning of the career simulate to layer in the season (maybe October - january) because if Leeds are struggling they might offer you the job and you'd still be there for the transfer window whi would make more sense anyway realistically. Another idea is to go somewhere local (Middlesbrough/Sheffield/hull) and move to Leeds after season or 2 proving yourself at a smaller Yorkshire club.
I did this with Mark noble in fifa 21 managing brwntford for 2 seasons then leaving for west ham after getting them promoted and surviving a season in the premier league
