This isn't just taking in a stray little kitten. This is being willing to spend what must have been thousands of dollars to give it a chance at a good life. These guys are heroes
The cost of medical care depends on where you live.
My wife and I rescued a kitten from a hedge, he had his left eye hanging out, he had a skin disease, fleas, internal parasytes and was malnourished and the cost of bringing him back to good health (including the removal of the compromised left eye) was the equivalent of about 300 USD over the course of a year. We live in Eastern Europe.
That was in 2015.
Now he's a handsome 6 kilo tomcat and we love him to bits, as does our CHihuahua.

I don't have the words for these two guys, they're a blessing to the planet as a whole and to all of its creatures. To the helpless ones they're selfless life savers with unending love and care and for the selfish human beings, an extraordinary example of what love looks like in action. I was born blind in my left eye..not just _legally_ , but also literally. It has never stopped me doing anything. Whiskers will also be fine, with these beautiful men being his daddies!!!

Reminds me of my sweet Kitty. It used to be when we first came home, small and scrawny, being chased by a neighbor's adult cat. For some reason, I simply took him in and cared for him. When he grows up well, a lot of people like him. But he's been missing for three weeks, not knowing where he's been, stolen or lost. Till now I still hope he comes back. I miss it
hopefully he can be found as soon as possible, so he can get more of your attention and love!

But be positive just keep looking for your cat, Also walk everyday around your neighborhood and put attention to all the houses believe me there’s crazy people living around us, don’t trust all of them. Мой тоже такой был грязный и блохастый. Когда первый раз мыли вода вся в крови была. Блошили и глистовали почти месяц. Зато теперь наглая рыжая морда в восемь месяцев уже три кг весит))) шкодный такой ребенок растет))) лежит сейчас рядом и мурчит.

I have a stray kitten that looks exactly the same it had herpes that destroyed one of her eyes and greatly affected the other.. Currently she can't see but inshallah i have hope to treat this eye and hope that she Will see someday
