The 550 has a lot of the Daytona to it - upright cabin with 2 seats and a shelf with straps presumably for fitted luggage. Way better than many of today’s mid engine exotics - which to me, go completely against the original Ferrari and Lamborghini road cars. Most of these were GTs like the 550 - Daytona, 365 GTC, 275, Lusso, 400/412. Lets not forget Lambo’s 350/400 GT, Jarama, Islero and the awesome Espada either!!
What an amazing car and sound. Thanks for the breakdown on the cars history and what to look for when buying one. I wish there were tunnels in Newport Beach to hear that cars sound. The best local tunnel is under the Long Beach airport.
I absolutely love the 550. It'd be a stretch for me to afford to buy a 550 like the one you show here. What are typical operating costs for a car like this? maintenance & insurance? If you don't scare me with the $ amount, I might consider one. Thanks

One of my all time favourite Ferraris; front engined V12 and manual. Is that a blue 512 berlinetta boxer I see in your sales room? I'm seriously interested! Thanks for posting this video and nice to see that you're a Black Sabbath fan too!
Hi mark, it is actually a fiberglass 308 that you are seeing. We do however currently have a few 512 bbs available. Feel free to send us an email at sales@ferraris-online.com
I love and appreciate because she has the balls to talk about the ridiculous overpriced goodies; like the red calipers. That "fraud" started under Montezemolo, when the true Ferrari era was over. Nowadays Ferraris are expensive but no more longer exclusive. Like an overpriced wine in a tetra pack.
Just wait soon you will be "subscribing" to options on your cars, BMW is trying to start this now. It just seems like it will be a field day forcanyone with a soldering iron.
@@FerrarisOnline Of course Ferrari is not the only manufacturer with an extra long extra expensive list of extras. Porsche was always same good in that job. I can remember my first Porsche 930 ... when the salesman have asked me: "Do you want a rear mirror on the right side, or a rear wiper, on your 75k car?" Nowadays you've to pay extra money to get some sport seats in your 1mio hyper car, while a Kia is fully equipped. Crazy car world.^^ By the way I absolutely love the rare color combo on your Vetroresina @Ferraris Online
Again, the pants? Such a pretty woman, but the pants/jeans choices? So many other options that would make you look a bit more appropriate when looking back at this 5 years from now. Just saying. Love the 550M, maybe the most underrated Ferrari ever made. Where on earth did you get the bankroll, 10 years ago, to begin selling cars? Were you 20?
I'm just so glad that you told me that, it's really made my month complete. I know I'm highly unusual, though, because for some reason I just have this feeling that no-one else on the planet cares, at all.
JayEmm on cars approves this video.
My favorite, most beautiful daily driver Ferrari ever made. My only dream car. Tks for vid. Excellent presentation.
This is one of the best car-enthusiast channels on RUclips.
Thanks!
Thank you for this video. It’s nice to hear what the car sounds like in normal street driving and it sounds wonderful.
V12 Music to My Heart
They are a fabulous car. Don’t think twice about buying one. Good job on the video!
Thanks!

Wow, that V12! Such a balanced yet powerful sound.
Love the sound on this one. Only problem is you want to listen to that engine sing while driving and well.... speed limits.
@@FerrarisOnline The car literally screams for a German Autobahn. Too bad you have very strict speed limits like us in Switzerland.
By GAD what a sound that engine makes! And the lady is very knowledgeable about cars as well as being very easy on the eye..
Thanks!
It’s aged particularly well, proper Ferrari

Thanks coleen👌 I love the older style Ferrari models so much more look how beautiful the f12 is nice but designed In The Wind tunnel
Great video, but the last manual V12 from Ferrari was the 599 and V8 was the California!! With regard to 550, what a wonderful car !!
The 550 was the last ferrari only sold as manual.
so beautiful! ... the car looks good also
Thank you

I am not a expert but I would think that the saying -“ if you ask , you can’t afford it “
Always wanted this one in blue
Black Sabbath shirt?..... nice🤘🏼
I would only want the 5 speed manual .. great video as always thanks !!
I love the 550!
Really sweet car, but the F355 sounds so much better. Still, the 550 is a tremendous value for the money.
Such a beauty! Is it the stock exhaust?
Yep
There is one identical as this one for sale here in São Paulo , Brazil. The price tag is $ 428,000. with 10k miles on it.
I 👌 stick shift.!!

@@FerrarisOnline a blue 308? That is so cool! Thank; I'll be in touch later! Ozzy rules! Regards from England, Mark
wow
You're so right about early 550s being base models. My 1998 had two "options": Red and Beige. Window sticker shows a zero-options price of $204,000.
who is the camera
really nice shots
Our videographers are capsule plus studios. They are great two brothers with some real skill and love for cars.

My favorite of the "new" Ferrari's - well short of a 288 GTO.

Driving and talking about a Ferrari and wearing a Sabbath shirt?
Can we just get married already?

Such trashy jeans for such a beautiful and classy car, thee disrespect.
