When Too Many Reveals Hurts a Movie | Rod Views Argylle

Argylle is one of those movies that, in surface level can be enjoyable. But, when looking at it, in a deeper level, you can begin to see a lot of flaws within the structure and story of the movie. Personally, I felt it was due to the execution of the incredible amounts the movie has to offer. Besides the abundance of these reveals, creating a mix-up timeline, the execution failed because the movie was scared to provide subtle indications that'll eventually lead up to those reveals so it doesn't ruin the big reveals it had to offer. As a result, when the reveals are revealed, they seem so far-fetched, illogical, and out of place.
Argylle does have its moments, but with the amount of interesting elements within the movie, I couldn't take it too seriously.
