Champs 2022 was just insane, China showing their fangs in international stage, LOUD comeback from Copenhagen, PRX trying to prove themselves again after Copenhagen, FPX with their complete roster, DRX breaking the 6th place curse, Optic trying to close the year with 2 trophies and obviously, the biggest rivalry and probably will be for a long time in Valorant: the closing match from LOUD vs OPTC, with both of them being almost even in every single stats from maps/rounds to series won against each other, and both of them having a trophy at the end of the season. Just incredible
Champs 2022 was really good, the nostalgia, the drama, it was all proven teams so you knew it was gonna be good matches. There weren't much upset potential but that made it so much unpredictable for fans cause even you werent sure who would win
And Optic v Loud playing 3 times was such a blessing omg
Xset's insane run was also amazing to watch
They looked bad at Masters but looked insane at Champs
never forget the turret incident 🙏
Lock in is easily the best major just from the narrative perspective(unless you're a loud fan ofc) that 3-11 comeback was just perfection. I remember just being in shock thinking it was already done but apparently boaster said no lol
Lock in is not a major like everyone was invited to the tournament there should be some qualification like masters or vct but tbh even masters ain’t even a major only vct
Yeah im suprised he didnt put it in S, its easily the best one.
Man that comeback hurted so much, but it was a banger match anyways, the 2 map comeback to almost make the reverse was EPIC, even tho loud lost. Btw i`m a Brazilian loud fan
@@gabrielgallegos1837 it was also the most dramatic one and inspiring, its like an anime battle lol
looking back, even as a brazilian, that last map was one of the greatest things i've ever seen in an esports game
2022 will forever be the best year of VAL for me because of OpTic
yessir
champs 22 what a giga banger such great maps played, the drx vs furia match was such a comeback and the grand finals just game me goosebumps
Lock in was the best imo, ik it isn't considered a major but man it was really fun
Technically Riot confirms it as a Major
the finals were really fun. yeahhhh thats about it. Single elims with every franchised team participating? Yeah it was pretty mid. No storylines, no upsets, and a bad crowd? Defo not S-tier imo.
@@thepeacekeeper2338 there were plenty of upsets lol, TS and TL comes to mind
@@thepeacekeeper2338 No story lines??? This was the chance to see what every team could do, and who would reign supreme over the new gen of Valorant, FNC super team, Loud without sacy and pancada, Sentinels goated???. What could Liquid do with Gnats and Redgar, Could Europe and the devolved g2 core sweep it all, could the asian teams claim superiority away from EU and Na, Are latam gonna reign now?? The story lines were peak my boy
lock in was the best if you're watching it on stream via streamer's watch party. atleast there's noise. but watching it live and on valorant's official stream probably sucks because fans aren't making noises unless it's a BR team kek
champs 2022 was the first tournament of valorant which I ever watched and it is really what got me into valorant esports just, a mindblowing tournament especially the FPS vs DRX game, I was up at 3 am just so nervous to see who would win the game, the ASPAS 1v3 on bind in the grand finals, LOUD'S dominant haven against OPtic, Rb insane spray transfer just, one of the best tournaments i have ever watched
As a Loud fan watching this video was a rollercoaster with having us win the vct and the losing the final we shouldve won worst night as a Loud fan
as an optic fan i feel ur Pain champs finals still hurts 😢
Mistic will forever be haunted by this flash lmao 2:50
love your videos! have you thought about redoing the world cup video after franchising?
I remember reading and watching a lot about Gambit before berlin, hearing about how dominant they were and how the european pros expected them to win and it's crazy how it did play out that way.

Thanks to them for sponsoring the video 😁
very cool vid, keep it up!
Great video again keep it up
what a trip down memory lane :D
basically if loud makes a long run the tournament is a banger
I agree with you that champs 2022 and 2023 are in S tier. Tho I think 2023 is more fun to watch. The storylines were great and the teams are much more competitive. It's kinda hard to guess which team is going to win the trophy. Like there's a bunch of good teams. And the storyline that EG created for themselves, tbagging all the enemies made the game even hyper. That overtime on pearl in upperfinal was such a banger. It's a bit sad tho that PRX didn't push their limits on the final. But EG played so well and I think the boys and Potter deserved that trophy. (even I'm not a NA fan.) Looking forward for the coming season cause China and APAC are kinda scary. Their playstlye are super aggressive and they have so much shooters. Kinda pissed by riot for the schedule in 2024 and Master Madrid gonna be hard for each region to fight for. Yet super excited.
Thanks for the video!
As a PRX fan we have always been so so close to getting a trophy, champs 2023 really felt like what could have been a perfect ending, but alas no bueno. I hope 2024 is the year PRX get one, it would be unbelievable if the valorant history books remained void of prx
3rd place in masters Madrid is a shame, they always get so close. One day they'll get it, especially with Jinggg coming back for stage 1
though they havent as a prx fan i know they are the best they have the most consistent performances which idk if any team can match already better than every present team in the world
I think you forgot to mention the rope ace in boom vs optic
when can we expect p2 of the full story of champs 22? not complaining just really excited
The only vct major i think is top notch is champs 2022 because it was full stacked so many good teams in playoffs all 8 teams were very good and had immense talent
Where would you put the Masters Madrid tournament in the tier list?
Can you make a video about the history of Gambit vs Acend?
Bro gave a tier because they were less upsets then bro gave B tier because top teams couldn’t perform well.
Big brain moment🤯
Champs 2021 is the best just because of the skin, it's the best skin to date.
One thing about the fans leaving at Lock//In, the time of the game and the location meant that you left there very late, and it was extremely hot inside during the championship, Taxis and Uber nearby were very expensive, And well, São Paulo is not one of the safest places in the world to walk home.
champs 2022 was the best tournament oat (so far) and im saying this as a PRX fan, barely got to watch my team play and it was still the most insane tournament
what about game changers championship 2022?
Prime yay was something else
Totk box in the background
How tf did this guy put lock in, in A tier like wtf
Lock in is S+ tier
32 teams in a world cup format
FPX run at copenhagen was crazy but surely I can't be the only one who was praying for their downfall ever since suygetsu did the bye bye wave to boaster 💀
The best part of Champs LA was your tweet about Demon1 😂
soft as baby shit
lock in was my fave
All major champions are S-tier. They are perfect in that tournament.
as a brazilian, champions 2021 left a few big traumas for me
2022 deffo made up for it tho I’m sure
epic
Im kinda late but if loud didnt go to the grandfinal In The lock in major. I was kinda scared it Will end up like the Rio major from CSGO where no brazilian team got in to the grandfinal.
good video
swap champs 2021 with Copenhagen and that'd be pretty much my list. great vid.
I really wanna mention the walk in of the grand final at tokyo. I know its only a small thing and doesnt have much to do with the actual tournament. But it was by far the best walkout we had so far and for me it made the match so much more hype
Im a SEN fan and I agree with you, no crowd and no questio who would win after the first two rounds...not very exciting
L
aaaaand there goes the GC Championship in 2022
everyone forgets these things
That doesn’t count as a major lol neither does masters tournament but it’s whatever cause majors are once a year just look at csgo and rocket league for example
Where would you rank madird?
Soon prx will become a dynasty not now but soon will see them win trophies
Tbh I don't really think there will ever be a dynasty in Valorant. Like... I think no team is winning franchise league, Masters and Champions in the same year.
And i'd really love that.
champs 2022 by far the best turnament of all time
damn that has to be the best sponsorship transition I've ever seen 🔥
It feels to me like Fnatic kills Valorant, Gambits domination was very entertaining, Sentinels domination was entertaining, EG winning is insanely nice to see, but Fnatic winning is the most boring stuff. 1 of the only teams not adapting the harbor/viper meta, they ban every map that comb is good on, they don’t bring in new stuff for the meta like literally every other good team (even EG with Sova Fracture). We need a full meta change and stop the Fnatic boringness, bring back chamber meta asap
We not gonna talk about the end of the ad read or somethin????
Sick video tho
EG made Jinggg cry, I will never forgive them.
Karma is on its way my friend, EG can't stay together rn
@bluespy5813 how tf its karma bro they won rightfully not by cheating . I also like prx but eg were just better that day
@@bluespy5813 no karma. Eg deserved the win noob
Jingg made himself cry lol
@@bluespy5813not really karma??? And they won already so if they split off it is what it is
2:19 only 10 teams
I don't know what my brain says because I don't have one, but my heart is screaming that LOCK/IN got robbed off the S tier. I know I'm super biased but come on!
Gambit was the best for me
Lock in was dope but ya the Brazil crowd was the worst part of it. Having ALL of the teams there and barely any support to them was just a really bad way to start it off
champs 2022 clears every major this year lol
im sorry man champs 2023 felt kind of underwhelming with what we've seen, it definitely felt closer to champs 2021 than to champs 2022 for me, might just be because the group stage was kinda boring all throughout
I've really gotta disagree with putting Tokyo over Copenhagen. Tokyo was almost boring to watch because of how dominantly the won everything whereas Copenhagen was just chaotic and enjoyable at every turn. At least in my opinion.
After the death of overwatch league I’m trying to broaden my horizons and try out some valoran esports and this video really helps. It helps having a channel to get caught up on everything I’m not familiar with
zelda switch spotted video liked
DRX vs BLG was the best match in Champions 2023
eg vs loud lower finals>
@@envyGOATED agreed. but what DRX pulled off was impossible. If you saw the match you should remember the hype around BLG's performance against NRG. The pure terror after that brutal first half and then BLG getting completely dominated by DRX's defence.
Pure Drama!
Its annoying how right after a tourney everyone will throw pitchforks at you for saying that the tourney wasnt that good.
I got mauled for saying tokyo was one of the worst tournaments weve had yet when in reality there was nothing so great about it
legit fax easily the worst event of the last 2 years the only good teams were eg and fnc everyone else was mid
champs 22 was loud's run, the funny thing is that sacy's last team lost from gambit in a 12-6 comeback in icebox, then loud did the same to leviathan. felt amazing
When you’re fab team gets S tier GET GOOD PRX
Masters Reykjavik 2022 was the worst tournament by far. FPX who could've won the tournament couldn't go because of the war, FNATIC had to go with 2 subs and that led to that extremely unrealistic miracle run Zeta Divison had. In terms of being competitive it was really bad
aye i did it a Year ago
Champions 2022 was the best, it was so stacked and full fledged hardcore run for trophy and loud and optic both teams were best throughout the year
I agree with most of the list but for me, Master Copenhagen needs to be at A-tier. It got everything of a great tournament: Dark horses, close matches, awesome crowd and a thrilling final. Every game seems so close and the skill gap between teams in this event imo were the lowest compared to other tournaments
how id copenhagen a lower tier than 2022 iceland 💀
fuck that kru game. ill never understand why everyone loved it😭 not even that big of a sen fan
For me champs 2022, lock in and Masters tokyo S tier
Bro put Lock-in as S-Tier.. obvious FNC fan is obvious lmao
@@ArJayDM what's the problem? Fnatic fan since 2021 I enjoyed this year
Champs 2023,Champs 2022 and Tokyo for me
@@king_thanos_2116 fair enough
@jonny.05 lmao i know and it's obvious, you're just putting tournaments that FNC did well in as S-tier. It's called biased judgement.
Lock-in was literally a for fun tournament to see where every team was at after a long break. It's below a masters or champs event, which are official majors.
Masters aren’t majors champions are majors are once a year
i find it really confusing how Fnatic beats every team but loud, but the people who destroy loud fnatic 3 0d them..
champs 2023 easily the best
Not really 2021 was insane
@@jagason7494 2023 had the best storylines and the 2021 finals was wack
2022 was the best champs and it’s not close
dont go to 0:50
O cara tem medo de falar bem do brasil kkkk
Champions 2021, most forgettable tourni ever. Mainly cause what happened to Gambit
w commend face
I love you, you know that, I admire you, you are a great person, but to say FPX DRX is the best map ever played when M3C FNTC exists.. it offends me deeply!
Very great video! (Personally, I'd rate every tournament NA won in D-Tier GRRRRR (jk))
Lucido
as a prx fan, watching that shuygetsu clip again hurts my soul...
That camera angle is not it, dont call multiple games the best ever, says excellent excellent tournament, then puts it in B tier
Thats not it mate
commend, more like recommend...videos to frends
MAKE A NEW GC VIDEO PLSSSS
Champions LA , Masters Tokyo both should be B tier. Every team under performed in CHamps LA. even EG, NRG, PRX, FNC, LOUD. Although EG won they could have performed better. I was expecting more after watching them in tokyo
Wtf do u mean underperformed ur tripping
Champions LA is at least A tier masters Tokyo makes sense Ike fnatic didn’t even have real competition every team was kinda bad even eg
U got mixed up with tokyo and LA bro
@@jagason7494 whatever dude, let me eat my noodles.
How did eg, loud and prx underperform lmfao
champions 2021, to me, was the most boring event ever
Valorant might be the most random and most noobshit game ive ever played
average....sen.....hater..................
babe wake up commend just uploaded
Every 2021 event sucked and Tokyo and lock in sucked
i. love. masters. tokyo. bc im chinese 👉👈
and bc fnatic and paper rex. i love both of those teams along with edg
As an extremely biased PRX fan i'm gonna have to disagree with your ranking of Champs 2023. Please put it in the "NEVER TO BE SPOKEN OF / DELETE FROM MY MEMORY" tier 🥲🤣🤣
Same, I just saw the score when I woke up and never looked at it ever again.
