I have a Springer who is now 11 and one half. I had Samoyedes before and when I wanted a new pup, I had been watching the beautiful Samantha and the equally wonderful Jonathan in the show rings. I thought a Springer would be a nice change of a big dog with so much energy, but I was wrong. I got a medium sized dog with even more energy. We saved our sanity by getting a dog door and she is much happier. Katrina is so friendly and just loves everybody...I like that. She really is a great dog, but it took a while. I have had great luck health wise. I think she will live a very active life for a few years yet and I am glad of that.

I used to have one of these dogs before she died of natural causes in 2013 due to heart disease My current cocker spaniel has arthritis and Is blind, she also has infected ears that I have to treat every day with ear drops I got from the vet, My Labrador is living a healthy, happy life
How old was he at 3:05 I have a puppy who looks just like him but was told she is Aussie beagle mix but looks nothing of the sort and they said she was 5 months old but her teeth don’t seem to say the same

Thank you and congrats! Training just takes time, reward the positive behaviour, be stern about the negative behaviour, repeat over time, show him lots of love, walk him often and he'll be great!

cobalong never, ever let a Springer get bored. They will find something to do and you might not like it. They are love bugs and are considered a Velcro breed.
