Why assume that "EDM Trance = AJURIKA", when there's also TAKU INOUE, Yuzo Koshiro, SOLIDSTATE, and U Miyake who also did music like this? You forget that Ajurika also did Leaving the World Behind from the OG Soulcalibur (which is not Soul Edge).

Amazing soundtrack, gets you soooooo AMPED, way better soundtrack than a game like SF6. I don’t usually wear my headphones when playing a fighting game but this is definitely a case where I do.
Im glad they went in on the EDM psytrance beats this time around because when they do it it's always pretty good. T7's soundtrack was pretty abysmal, honestly the season 2 updates onward started adding more tracks that were more EDM style and that was where Tekken's sound always shined. However, for me personally. I do miss some of their more ambient rock/guitar tracks like Snow Castle from T5DR and The China Stage with the farm animals wandering around in T6
As a whole T7 is a heavily mixed bag. Story was a mess, music either bang or flopped hard, visuals are...urgh. But Tekken 8 goes hard in everything. The music, visuals and potentially the story as well. The budget goes hard this time and i love it
