Blue tape is used in home inspections to mark areas that are broken, flawed or in disrepair. There are hinges on the side, but I'm still not sure if it's the back of a painting (symbolizing memories that you know are there, but you can't recall) or the inside of a broken cabinet door (symbolizing being stuck inside your own head, once filled with memories of life and joy, now empty)
I clicked on this video. 4 seconds in another youtube tab autoplays into the Stage 1 at high volume. I click mute on this video but the Stage 1 keeps playing. I lose my shit for a moment.
For me "A Part of a cardboard That was ready to Paint and do something like a canvas, But then couldn't think of anything so made it a door, So when it's time, He would pass throught it" that's what i think it is.
It's actually the back of a complete canvas. It's a full painting, no longer visible in any discernible way since it's been turned on it's back. Symbolic of memories that have completely vanished, the only thing left is the haunting tune at the end of Stage 6. Your favorite music is the last thing you forget before you die.

i had a same story with this album... it all happened 2 years ago, i was watching a video, when the protagonist talked about this album... i am a very curious person, so, when the video ended i search for this album... it was a terrible mistake... i got traumatized, i couldn't get the song "its just a burning memory" out of my head. i could hear it all time all day long... and all that plus the context of this album made it absolutely painful... in that time i had like 10 years so it was very spooky to me think about what people with dementia had to live by every day... then in those days i got super sick, all my body hurt so bad, so i had a very bad moment trying to take that stupid song out of my 10 year old head, i don't know how to describe that feeling, i could say depression but i exactly don't know how, but im waaaaay better, i didn't remember this album until this video appeared on my recommendations... so, my tip is that, if u r crossing into a very bad moment like, depression, anxiety or sth similar, please don't hear this album if u don't want to live a more difficult moment... thanks 4 reading :)
I recommend "Geogaddi" from Boards Of Canada, Its Shorter, it has musically variety and more Artistic Horror and interpretation , If you are interested of course!
I have a theory that stage six art cover has the back of the canvas of Kirby’s art, a empty bliss beyond this world because it you look closely enough you will see similar colors and art on a little strip of it
this song is kinda like when you’ve always tried to get someone’s attention and they never gave you a piece of their time and then you just stopped trying to get attention and never talked to anyone or have anyone attention
Stage 6: this is the end. You’ve turned the canvas over to reveal a blue tape, and a slightly oily back. You reveal this only to find yourself realizing I remember. It’s all here, like a person teasing me or something showing me there is another side: I can go over and see, it’s all there. Everyone’s here and I can rest. This is it and I know it but I can’t do anything about it. Stage 6 is the final goodbye to years of suffering.
I always thought of this object as a photo. Yk? That one on funerals. Like, this album shows what is dementia, and all other similar diseases, that leads to death. And you just forgetting what you look like, you forget how to walk. How to talk. And then you are dying. Without any memories of what you look like.
Am i the only who didnt find the stage 6 sad nor emotional or anything , i just didnt feel anything , emptyness because of those voices but it was so fucking noisy my ears were bleeding lmao, i didnt cry
