- A dummy hub is a great little tool when you remove a rear wheel on a bike to clean the chain or for transportation

Dude I just bought one of these and wondering how the hell it was gonna work on a thru axle - lol. Thank you for posting this!!!
THANK YOU!! I was feeling like an idiot trying to get this to work
My simple comment is........One heck of a good informative video and I will now buy a dummy Hub
I've seen them but have never purchased one but now I guess I can see just how simple and useful they can be. Thanks
Yeah this is almost the best 15 bucks that I have spent on my bike. Cleaning the drivetrain without the rear wheel in place is so much easier using the dummy hub.
just bought one and needed clarification on use, thanks for the tutorial
I just used one of the rug rats old training wheel, with the tyre removed. Cost zip
Good visuals and idiot proof. Well done. Has the plastic wheel held up? I’ve heard they break easily. Seems a hard rubber or metal one would last longer, but I’ll probably get this one to start.
I haven’t had any problems with mine so far

Ok. They don’t sell that particular model anymore but there are several that look about the same.
thanks, I was pulling my hair out on this one. You need to remove the pully, which makes. more sense for my frame. I have the same stand, do you hold your bike by the seat post or top bar of the frame? Thanks!!!
Usually by the seat post but sometimes by the top tube making sure I don’t clamp too tight
BTW, the gray bike in this video is carbon fiber so I always grab this one be the seat post
thanks.... I'll try the seat post, mine is not carbon so I should be safe on the bar but like to see how the seat works out 👍
Came to see how to use dummy hub...shows how not to use one.
Share the link to your video on how to do it “right” Lol 😂
@@TonyHob my bad...I didn't finish the video. My apologies
