I've seen a minimum of 25 people react to this video and you are the FIRST who has ever noticed him play with one hand. I've been waiting a long time for someone to notice. Thank you.
Those notes on the guitar played with one hand is called a "hammer on" and "hammer off". By slapping your fingertips on the notes with enough "pull", the strings will make the same notes as strummed. This was a technique used A lOT in the 60s and 70s and led to the tapping and double tapping like Eddie Van Halen did later. Angus pays homage to the father of "guitar rock" , Chuck Berry, who would do splits, and funny positions/walks including his signature, "duck walk".
The story about the drum setup is quite funny actually. So the drummer in this video and for this album was Chris Slade - a legendary Welsh drummer who’s performed with the likes of Tom Jones. He wanted two bass drums next to him for the video so he could bang the ‘THUNDER!’ Chant in line with the beat, but it stuck and he uses it at every concert he does with AC/DC. Their usual drummer is Phil Rudd who’s a more groovy drummer which suits the band more but Slade’s drum-destroying style and sound really give this album a unique sound. He did a sensational job.
Great reaction, 4 days ago. They put up scaffolds in a theater and asked some fans to do this for the video. Their concerts are usually in stadiums, and always sell out. The guitar that goes crazy in Rock/Metal bands with two guitar players, is the lead guitarist, and the other is rhythm guitarist. If there's only one guitarist, then they play both parts. There's a bass, also called bass guitar, for the low tones.
Angus Young (lead guitarist) he's using a hammer on, hammer off technique with one hand. It also depends on how your amp is set as well, to do it with one hand. The fans appear to be on a scaffold. Probably, wouldn't be allowed today due to fire regulations. Things got more stringent due to the Whitesnake fire incident. Check out Niel Peart's (Rush) drum set up. Now that's intimidating.
If you’re going to react to AC/DC, you have to check out ‘It’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock ‘n’ roll’ Edit: they seriously incorporated bagpipes into a rock ‘n’ roll song and it is freaking awesome❤ RIP Bon
I recommend AC DC live because they give 1000x1000 even when you're old they're incredible. Please react to the live river plate of these songs: shoot to thrill, Whole Lotta Rosie, thunderstruck. And if you want the best live audience there is no doubt ac dc live at river plate.

You can indeed produce sound without a second hand. I forget what its called but pressing and releasing on the fret board alone can produce a sound.
