SOLVED! Something Unexpected Went Wrong With This URL

If you come across the error "Something unexpected went wrong with this URL" while using Outlook, the first suspect is the default web browser. To dismiss the error, you should consider changing the default web browser. In the case that the error persists, you may want to reset to the Microsoft recommended defaults then modify the default app settings for .htm and .html extensions as well as http and https protocols.
