Turns out this is an excellent camera angle for us players who are trying to become better pool players. You get to see the different stroke motion that these two champions have and also, to all those complaining about the long times between shots: that’s why you’re not learning anything from these matches. If you pay enough attention you can catch on to what the players are thinking. Follow their eye movement and you’ll see what positional path they’re seeking. You think it’s easy being in a stage like that and just play without taking time to assess every shot? Well, there you go again. That’s why you’re not winning.
It's tough for Luna waiting around. You could tell when I believe it was 2-0 or 3-0 when he backed the one Luna sunk back into his chair. He eventually started getting up to help take the balls out of the pockets because he can't stand being in the chair. That's a shitty feeling.

He was also racking his own racks, so he always racked the balls in a certain order and he kept getting very easy break and runs. Some guys learned how rack and make the 9 on the break very often, so you see some rules try to prevent that, or the opponent checks your rack.

Game 7, Jeff makes one ball on break but doesn't shoot again?
I'm pretty sure it was the 3 ball rule, where you either have 3 balls have to pass the headstring, pocket 3 balls or any combination of the two rules (1 ball pocketed, 2 pass the head string, 2 pocket, 1 head string, or 3 headstring. So he made 1 ball but didn't have enough balls pass the headstring.
They are playing with the three-point break system I think which means at least 3 balls have to be pocketed, pass the headstring, or a combination of the two. De Luna pocketed a ball and only one passed the headstring so Alcaide has the option to receive the break or give it back to de Luna without the option of a pushout.
I'm with you. As a player myself I've never needed more than 30 seconds for a shot and I don't play as good as these guys. Once you get to a solid B plus player your first instinct should be right when you look at the table or you don't understand the game.

I have a question. On game 7 when Jeffrey break and made one ball into the side pocket why he didn’t continue playing? Thank you.

He is the one that Efren touched his cue.
Yes, David Alcaide

De Luna broke and he entered ball "1" in a side pocket, so why did they change the turn to Alcaide?
Did he do something wrong in the break?
Illegal break.
@@sebastianangeles1694 you have to be kidding , he asked what did he do illegal
EFREM WHO? These guys are much much better! Clean game!
Efren*
Why when Luna pocketed the one ball on the break he didn't stay at the table?
In the break, 4 balls must hit the rail after contacting the 1 ball, so it was an illegal break.
Yeah, i also wonder, why is that?
It's called illegal break , he made a ball but no ball has reached the break line
Not enough balls passed the headstring
@@ruize777 I think illegal break is not necessary..
33:00 why this shot is illegal?
I have the same doubt, because at least 4 balls hit the coushion and he made ball 1
Jesus Galvan he hits the the number 2
Only 1 ball went past the middle of the table. That is why it loss of shot, but not ball in hand.
Because of the 3 point break rule. 3 balls must cross the head string or must go in
Read the 3 point break rule.
