    Nice Explanation! But one more reason I heard why they could not get perceptron to work is non-linear activation function along with back propagation. Geoffery Hinton also thinks back propagation is not the algorithm how our human or in general animal mind learns.

    sir...!!! suppose in a linear/logistic regression there are 3 neurons in input layer and 3000 in 1st hidden layer and 1 neuron in o/p layer.....why such kind of networks are creating more difficulty while training , but 4-5 neurons works fine. is there any relation b/w 1st layer and i/p layer.

    • @zigzag4273
      @zigzag4273 3 года назад

      Hey Ankit, In my opinion there is no way to decide a fixed number of neurons to use in your hidden layers. You just have to use arbitrary number of layers (meaning, just put how many you want).

    • @bharatsahu1599

      To list a few :
      1. Less feature engineering required.
      2. More accuracy for complex problems (obviously if you have more data).
      3. tf and pytorch support to make and improvise on problems including but not limited too only classification and regression.
