As a shut in otaku who watches anime alone I’m glad that Idia is bonding with the others over his favorite games and also talking a few about animes too. There’s nothing better than doing the things you enjoy with the people you’re close with. Idia has always only spend time with Ortho when it comes to playing games, I’m glad that now he’s starting to share the games he enjoys with others too. This is not much but this is a huge character development of Idia for me and I hope that with this, Idia will be able to put himself and what he wants to do first before the future that his ancestors has put in place for him. Just how Riddle used to listen to every single word his mother says to now breaking even some of the Queen’s rules from time to time I also wish Idia would maybe once in a month go out of his room and at least walk around the school, he doesn’t have to communicate with anyone, just try going out of his room once in a while and slowly but surely start talking to people once he’s comfortable enough. It might be hard since he’s quite introverted and being one I understand how hard it is to make friends or just talk to someone, but I hope that we get to see Idia at least walking around the campus comfortably one time in a future episode, and maybe try replying back to some of the people who communicate to him. This is such a huge character development for Idia to me and I hope that he will keep changing for the better in the future.

Their true role is to save Twisted Wonderland and NRC from a forseen bad end, which was shown in the prologue first tutorial battle. One of the ways is to change the key characters perceptions/outlooks in life, which somewhat prevented them from falling into a rabbit hole of self destruction. Thanks to Yuu, the captured dorm leaders somewhat changed for a better, in turn tries to help Idia in return.

As a _gamer_ (I despise that word but ok) myself I fangirled HARD during this part like. They went out of their way to make the minigames! And even make them look and sound rather accurate! Some even changed aspect ratio to accurately represent the fact that they're retro (most likely Famicom (?) games. it's such an odd thing to get happy about considering the stuff we've seen in the chapter so far. But. It was great. Idk. There's a reason I resonate with Idia to a spiritual level. Speaking of which, him presenting his favorite game in such a dramatic manner is so cute? Like. It's so great to see that we finally have some different gameplay even if it's playing a game within a game lol. These minigames remind me of the Disney games you would actually find on the PS1 or gameboy lmao (including bootlegs), it feels like playing a remaster of those type of games
Not fitting with the aesthetic here, but the Wall-E game was my major obsession when I was 9. Such a good game. I played the PS2 version, and I'm so glad that the PSP version is basically the same.

Legit the boy is a year younger than u n yet u think him a demon, LOL. 4 some reason, that makes me think Idia n Riddle might have the most incompatible yet funny dynamic, the feeling that Idia feels 'bullied' by Riddle's tyrannical personality and then Idia pays it back anyway he can... childishly. Well, I'm not 100% sure but I feel it funny that Idia regards Riddle, his kohai, as a demon.
