HEARTSLABYUL / ALICE IN WONDERLAND
→ "Off with your head!" is the Queen of Hearts' catchphrase.
→ The white rabbit was often worried about being "late."
→ The Queen only wanted red roses, never white.
SAVANACLAW / THE LION KING
→ Leona's line about "working on that little roar of yours" is spoken by Scar to Simba right before he abandons him in the gorge.
OCTAVINELLE / THE LITTLE MERMAID
→ Azul's line about the bridge is a direct lyric from "Poor Unfortunate Souls."
SCARABIA / ALADDIN
→ The Genie was a major support character in the movie.
POMEFIORE / SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS
→ Epel's line references the JP version of "Someday My Prince Will Come," where Snow White sings about a prince coming to meet her on a white horse.
IGNIHYDE / HERCULES
→ Idia's first line is a direct quote from the JP dub of Hercules. However, the translation was too different between the languages so I didn't keep the Disney cameo here. This corresponds to Hades' line "Ah! There's the little sunspot, little smootchie" when he first meets baby Hercules.
DIASOMNIA / SLEEPING BEAUTY
→ Malleus' line is spoken by Maleficent when she captures Prince Philip. The line she says in the English dub, "I have plans for our royal guest" was bland compared to the JP dub ("I have a good idea for entertaining you here") so I tried combining them.
→ Silver's line may be a reference to the lyrics in "Once Upon a Dream."

Some random facts you’d like to know before playing the game :
- This is not an otome game, it’s a rhythm game (or maybe a slave game XD I don’t know). Azul even called MC “a piece of rag” once XD
- These characters are NOT the Disney Villians turns into anime boys, they’re the ones who were chosen to inherit the Disney Villians, they are now just students, and they learn about the 7 Disney Villians in History Classes just like we learn about the charactes in our country’s history.
- Yes, there are teachers, and a principle (you know there aren’t just 7 Disney Villians right ?). The principle is really lengthy and a bit anoying though he’s pretty handsome XD. And yes, you can’t blame anyone if the teachers are just being HAWT, you can’t interact with them much.
- There are some characters who has no correlation to any Disney characters like Jack or Sebek, because the Houses are based on Disney Villains (characters in their history) and the principle just kinda sort them into the House they were meant to be a part in (I know, Harry Potter flashback XD).

Jack is supposed to be based off a character from White Fang by Jack London. That's what it says on the wiki because White Fang is about a white wolf dog. I think. Disney did make a film based on the novel so...
I also personally think Sebek is based off of Maleficent's raven. That's just my take on it tho.

Also if it includes battles than have a fun time defeating them cuz it took me multiple tries just to defeat Riddle who was only the first boss like wth it was so insane with triple attacks and so much sh*t was happening and like bruh it was only the first boss. I an only imagine how the other bosses are gonna be TT_TT
Plus not even all the chapters are out yet damn it, only up to chapter 2 and f*ck I just want some fish content so you wouldn’t even be able to play to the end, good thing though is that chapter 3 is coming out in two more days.

RIDDLE FRICKING NOTICES YOU, note that he is someone on his high horse yet he walks up to you even if you are not a part of his dormitory let alone his friend(?), AND GOES UP TO YOU REALLLL CLOSE AND FIXES YOUR TIE. Like bruh that’s a so otome moment right there, and god he’s so satisfied with that little thing. It’s like he’s going like “oh my god I just touched my kohais tie” (ok maybe I am exaggerating but seriously bruh he literally walks up to you and fixes your tie with a smile like it’s ok to be in our personal space and touch your clothes)
And bruh like Floyd. **breathes in** he fricking goes “Ba~ ♡” WITH THE HEART. NO JOKE. HE MAKES AN INNOCENT SMILE AND SAYS “Ba~” WITH A HEART AT THE END. You know, at first I thought this was a fan game and that Disney would never do this but, imagine my plesent surprise when I come to find out that this is a mobile game made by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan.
I can only hope an Subtitled versions comes to places outside of Japan since even I who is not fond of Rythem games would delight in the ascetic.
Sho Minamimoto it’s not only just a rhythm game, there are also battle modes in it as well. Plus it’s like a visual novel too. ^^
Unraveled Lies after seeing more gameplay I did see the battle mode.

I know it's been 2 years but the amount of dumb misinformation in the comments is just. This is not just a rhythm game, it has a whole storyline and side personal stories for each character. You really get to know them. Also, MC is genderless for self-insert purposes. This is not an otome game (Malleus be sus tho) and the characters are NOT pretty boy versions of the Disney villains. They represent them. The actual disney villains also exist in the story.

Am I the only one who's actually happy that this didn't turn into an otome game? For some reason I've always felt uncomfortable with most otome games since they're in first person, (no offense to those who like it, but it makes me think of Dora the explorer for some reason). I like my romance when both person in the relationship actually has a personality, not some cardboard that you can imagine as yourself.
IMO, they kinda went the wrong way with the trailer. It really looked like an otome game. It's what that has been keeping me from clicking on it, so maybe it wouldn't really attract the actual demographic the gameplay was directed at.

Although slightly disappointed in the rhythm games, it pales in comparison slightly to other games but it is unique. It includes animations of the characters with magic and etc in the background as you play which is interesting and adorable uwu

Anna Bourbon honestly I’m glad it isn’t since the story could do better much without it. Plus this story has Disney aspects and if it was an otome it wouldn’t be very interesting for some characters like everyone except Riddle in heartslabuyl cuz they only represent the cards.
As an adventure/rhythm/battle/visual novel game it fully allows you to experience the whole story for that dormitory and what movie they represent. And let me tell you the stories are so amazing, I don’t think it can work out if it was an otome so I’m glad it wasn’t.
This game really has a story that works best without it being an otome, even if it isn’t there are plenty of moments like an otome game like Riddle approaching closely to you to fix your tie or Floyd going like ‘Ba~ ♡” to you with the freaking heart included and a nice smile.
So honestly all in all it’s better if it wasn’t an otome game, the story is incredible, even if you want an otome game there are otome moments in He game too. UwU
Also next time throw some Marron Tarts, chocolate is fine but Marron Tarts are better uwu

But I am going to maintain my opinion because I truly love otome games and I actually got a very different idea of what it was (before the game was released) though, and respect yours not just because of freedom of speech but because it has a good foundation. But nice! Have fun with the game! It’s seriously fun and listen to my advice, remember to level up your character. You do not wanna be in my position when I was facing Riddle the first boss in the game. I barely leveled up my characters and I was rekt so hard like bruh Riddle is only the first and his attack and health was already insane. So take my advice and remember to level up as much as you can-
Also the game is only up to the second chapter! The third chapter is coming out in two days though (I can’t wait to have fish content x3)! Also the Leona pick-up summon is going on rn and is gonna end soon (I forgot the date) but the Floyd pick-up summon will be happening on the day the third chapter is released.
Also get the game quickly! By the 31st the SSR guarantee will be over!

I love your idea and see it completely but it would've been nice if even though it wasn't solely an otome game there could still be some romance options on the side. But honestly I love the idea that you described and wholeheartedly agree but I feel their could be an in between of sorts.
These characters look so awesome (and hot 😝 lolol) and I would definitely love to see this in an otome game where you can interact with them on a deeper level. I think personally what really connects me to a game is character and relationship aspects like seeing characters form bonds but also good storyline etc., and I just love otome games so I feel it would be a lovely addition and enhance the game if done right. Plus rhythm games are kinda hard, even if not an otome game I'd rather it be another type that allows more interaction? 😂. I would definitely play although idk how.
I have so many questions, but the most important is probably "who was the genius that managed to convince Disney to make this?".
I mean, I remember my childhood full of Disney films with "perfect" princesses and princes and now I'm finding out that they made something like this... and I'm not complaining about it. 😈😊I don't care of its not an otome game, the moment they translate it in English I'm playing it.😉😁💕
