This is definitely the golden era. Streaming wasn't a thing. You just need to enjoy the music. Today's generation are so into recognition just to brag like their faves is their own achievements :( sadly, kpop have become more toxic + i edited it cuz I agree that kpop before was somewhat toxic but not as rampant compared to today
I think it already is a thing. I remember Exo being so big internationally when they debuted, they always had lots of views and how everyone think Exotics were so annoying back then.

EXO and BAP used to go head to head but no one drags the other.. heck, even EXO and BTS were once a sibling group too because of baekhyun and V.. but now kpop had become so global to the point that immature people gets in without even knowing the industry. It's not as fun anymore.

I feel like that too. Back then, I truly feel like the fans could proudly said they're "K-Pop fans" and not just ELF, V.I.P, Sonee, Cassie, and so on. Plus they had so many variety shows with guests from different groups that it's kinda impossible not to fall in love with another artist/group even when you only watched show that have your stan.
It's weird that 2015 songs are already told to be old songs. I mean yes...they are nearly like 6 years old then..but still doesn't feel that old at all.
Ikr, this is not old. I don't even recognise song from Winner, Ikon, Sonamoo, CLC, Lovelyz or some boy/girlbands who debut at 2012-2015, I feel they're still rookie groups to me or I'm just that old. My kpop is 2005-2011s era plus DBSK who debut in 2003 (This video didn't even put JYJ omg- poor my ultimate bias Jaejoong-). Okay. But I still appreciate this video, some songs from this video give me intense flashback of my fangirl days lol.

Yep I'm old. I knew them all and sang each one. This was the era I fell in love with kpop. My first group i fell in love with was Shinee and that was in 2009. They are still my favorite group over all. But C Clown, History, Tara, Boyfriend, bring back all the music I loved.

Yep I'm old. I knew them all and sang each one. This was the era I fell in love with kpop. My first group i fell in love with was Shinee and that was in 2009. They are still my favorite group over all. But C Clown, History, Tara, Boyfriend, bring back all the music I loved.
