I adore them! 🥰

Great picks, Janaki! I always see The Devil in The Lovers card in Tarot As Color. It's obvious, and interesting. Wait what? Was the Abstract Futures deck High Priestess a ginormous black phallus friend!?? I'm here for it ! Do you have the Orbifold Tarot? I don't, but it came up for me as something you might like. (fast forward 6 mos from this vid...) I Would not think of the Death Dula Oracle for you. I agree that it's sharp and cold. I also feel like it's a reach and a miss in it's genre. I'd recommend it to folk who try to make a point but rarely do. To me, you are clear and concise, even in your groovy moods.
👋, I am with you on Taro as Colour; in terms of esoteric working, I feel the connection to this better than either the Waite or Crowley decks. Of which I have neither, cause I don't like the art. I appreciate the works, but my practice my way right? I think this deck works with how my brain works, neuro -diversity for the win. I've never been one for abstract images before. But I feel there is space for my own intuition to swirl around with. Unintentional path working and energy workings, so far. Which has led me to experiment a little more, I'm marinating on the minors with the decan's at the moment, but I have found that my experience with the deck wants to go its own way, not always what I think might or will happen. A unique experience for sure. Collage is way busy for me, I have a couple of simple collage decks and like them. But I love how you and others get so much from those type of decks, it fascinates me. 😅
Hi! I use that crazy behemoth, Dracxiodos, in the same way. It's on my alter every month. Along with a card from another biggy, the Linweave Tarot. I've been thinking about Abstract Futures for a few months now. I love the abstract art style and the geometric shapes in that deck. I think it's time to order it. I love the look of Taro as Colour but I'm afraid I'll react to it like I did the Margarete Peterson. Meaning.....just staring into it and wondering if I "see" anything....LOL. Sometimes blobs or swirls just don't tell me a thing. Well, aside from being blobby or swirly I guess. Dirt Gems is probably my most used oracle deck ever. I adore it, love everything about it. I have a thing for decks with black backgrounds and own a ton of them, so Dirt Gems gets used alot. Living Alter another incredible deck. Fantastic choices! Thank you for sharing!

I loved seeing your picks for the tag! I've been drooling over the Abstract Futures Tarot for quite some time, but can't justify getting a deck at that price without seeing a walk through of it first (because you only make THAT mistake once lmao). Have you ever thought about posting one? If not, that's alright. Also I was wondering, which deck do you consider paired with the Graven Images Oracle? I've been wanting that one too and I'm curious as to what you think it works well with! :^)
Abstract Futures is near the top of my lists of decks to make a walkthrough of, but in the meantime they do have pictures of all the cards on their website ! The main deck I like to pair with graven images is an out of print majors only deck called The Gothic tarot by Leilah Wendell (I think I show them in a few recent videos), but honestly I think it would go with most things especially anything that also has a black border.
What have you found to be the best way to work with the Dirt Gem Oracle? I am thinking of getting it, but I don't know in which ways it can be used? Let me know what you do with it.
