- Asha makes a wish so powerful that it's answered by a little ball of energy called Star. With Star's help, Asha must save her kingdom from King Magnifico. Since this movie celebrates 100 years of Disney, they included a lot of awesome references to the movies that made Disney so special. Here is every reference we could find! In the end Valentino did a reference to zootopia when he said his wish was to have an animal metropolis where everyone lived equally.
He only specifically mentioned mammals and left out birds and reptiles
And Wear clothes. Don't forget that.
Asha’s blue cape is literally the fairy godmother’s cape. And then the wand and the movement… honestly in my mind this is the fairy godmother’s origin story. Asha is Fairy Godmother.

The bear in the movie was named John. A nod to little John from Robin hood .
You missed the big one: magnifico becomes the face in the mirror of the queen in snow white.
Yup AKA the very first villain of Disney
The magnifying glass isn't a reference to toy story. Toystory is pixar. The magnifying glass was from "The Great Mouse Detective"
1.When the hens are dancing in the chicken room, they use a huge chunk of the "be our guest" choreography.
2. the notes of "when you wish upon a star" are present in various renditions and variations thru the movie. the most noticeable one is when asha asks if she can keep the wand, right after the "this is why i'm grumpy" line.

Only for the sake of completion, there are three more references a noticed.
1. Snow-white- when magnifico is being absorbed into his staff, for one split second, the face of the mirror can be seen.
2. Robinhood- the bear that walked away with was named John like Rodin's sidekick.
3. Cinderella- in the chase with "Magnifico" Asha didn't just use a wand, but was dressed just the fairy godmother, which later she was called.
That's all I notic. Again, n enjoyed watching the video.

I noticed when Asha is leading magnificent away her cloak is the same as fairy godmother from Cinderella.

“Half a Mickey” is just the most ICONIC Disney Channel Wand ID
The scene where Asha has dinner with grandpa and mom is reminiscent of Mulan and when Asha ran out the door and the mum shouting Asha is like when Fa Li shout out Mulan when they discovered she was missing. there was also a quick scene where the magic wand made a dress appear on a tree which looks like giselle`s dress in enchanted. the scee where the took the boat out to the other island and asha jumping into the water is a reference to I Am Moana scene.
Did you notice that when King magnifico Got sucked in to his staff, you saw the magic mirrors face

So you really did not see that the grand parent 1) looks exactly like an older “Coco” and 2) when he sounds his guitar actually the song from coco “mis amigos” is heard
Also when magnifico said "my home was destroyed by selfish greedy thieves" it reminded me of when abuela and pedro madrigals home was destroyed and pedro gave his life to save abuela julieta pepa and bruno in encanto
There was a big pumpkin in a wagon which is another reference to Cinderella...
Did anyone notice one of the wish is Aurora’s blue dress and Peter Pan in the end 😊
when star gives Asha the wand in the woods Asha is dressed like fairy godmother

Also if you think about it magnifico only became bad because he became corrupt by his desire to keep rosas safe and his trauma
The chickens shooting eggs out their rears reminded me of Home on the Range
You forgot about the bear named John being a reference to Little John in Robin Hood
For Tangled you missed a reference in the opening song when she sings that you can have hair down to your feet
Magnifico is the mirror in snow white,this movie is technically a prequel

You missed a number of references! ‘Mirror, mirror,” at the end. Little JOHN of Robin Hood… quite a few!
The kids and I believe this was Mirror Mirror on the Wall origin story. Because the Queen tell em to set the king trapped to the dungeon. Wife said that the evil queen from Snow White traveled down to the dungeons to visit Mirror Mirror.
Also, i feel very sorry for some content creators that are so critical on these movies. Like they've lost the magic to just simply enjoy something for what it is. Anyway, the family and I thoroughly enjoyed spotting easter eggs, the movie, and the time we spent all together watching. For that, I will thank Disney.

In Cinderella the 3 fairy godmothers and the eggs hatching in the forest are the exact three colours of the 3 fairy godmothers!

I also noticed that when Asha was about to lure magnifico into the woods, her cape and her magic twig made her look just as the fairy godmother from cinderella, the sparkly light blue color of her cape was unmistakable!

I think the butterflies that appeared during i'm a star was a reference to encanto
To add on the references, there was one on Mulan, where Asha, her mom and Saba were arguing during Dinner, same as Mulan arguing with Father at dinner, cause she didn’t want his father going to war

If there was a Chicken Little reference, it would've been either be a chicken named Ace or a pig being a *RUNT* of the litter or someone saying "The sky is falling!" or even someone having a similar haircut like the aliens

I noticed Asha had two legs just like many previous Disney characters. This is ridiculous.
It is a well-known fact that this movie is meant to be full of references to previous Disney movies. So it's not ridiculous, it's just... well... facts.
