Hey Jim I am just getting ready to get a DMR Radio I have ordered one it's the Baofeng 1701 will it set up the same as the 6x2 I also have a hotspot coming I have been licensed since May 2022 I have read up and studied on ham radios since I got my CB license in the seventies just before the last year of them and still trying to learn more on amateur radios 73 K4BWN
I don't know - I've not had the 1701. It should be in the neighborhood. Most of these things are pretty close in the way they set up, so on any of my videos, the same pieces are there, just not specifically in the same place.

Got cps open got a dm1701. Upgraded firmware. I got my Chelsea. I can't listen to the 2 dmr towers I want. It lights up green but no audio ):
The more I know, the better the Rfinder looks.
