  • The town of Copacabana on the shores of Lake Titicaca on the Bolivian side has 5,000 inhabitants and a 3000-year old history and is a place of religious ceremonies. A popular destination is the 20 kilometers away island Isla del Sol in Lake Titicaca.
Near Copacabana there is a rock that resembles a frog. The inhabitants believe that this brings luck. That’s why here a variety of religious ceremonies take place. A long queue of people is waiting to break filled glass bottles on this rock.
